From earth shattering bass, DnB and jungle to nostalgic, sun-drenched shoegaze and quite literally everything in between, Rory is a master of his analogue electronic craft. His forthcoming album ‘All Things Shining’ set for release on Best Effort Records showcases 10 forward thinking tracks that effortlessly incorporate uniquely, skittering synths, swirling ambience and crystalline, glistening electronica into an emotive and immersive package. This release looks back at new age ambient whilst propelling us into a futuristic world of contemporary IDM.

Second Contact, NYC-based DJ & metalsmith, is inspired by blending a diverse set of sounds including acid, techno, extraterrestrial and dark soundscapes, progressive trance, and more. 

Before emerging as a DJ, he is a designer, self-taught metalsmith, and founder of a mix series, forge.fm, where he combines traditional metalworking techniques and sculpture to fabricate jewelry collaboratively to DJ mix submissions. He’s motivated by working with others and he’s driven by commitment to quality and timelessness.

Second Contact is inspired by those who know the rules well enough to break them. He's currently holding a residency at Honey Trap, the hottest party series in New York City.

The ADE 2025 release by Crazy Nutz Music is an international compilation that brings together eleven artists from diverse countries such as France, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Spain, and Mexico, among others, establishing itself as a vibrant and multifaceted showcase of the current Tech House scene and its most cutting-edge variations. This homage to the iconic Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), one of the most influential gatherings in global electronic culture, is reflected in the quality and sonic diversity of the VA, offering a fresh and dynamic experience for demanding DJs and audiences. Highlighting the first part of the tracklist, Maria Sonora opens with Siento El Ritmo, an explosive track combining Latin rhythms with a pronounced tribal groove, where meticulous percussion blends with festive trumpets and an energetic female vocal conveying authenticity and celebration, instantly captivating the dancefloor. Following, Mirco Costas Wishi sustains the intensity with a deep, powerful bassline creating a solid foundation for tribal percussion complemented by crisp hi-hats and defined snares; the American female voice, processed with subtle delays and filters, adds a hypnotic and atmospheric feeling, making the track inviting for conscious and immersive dancing.
