Next up on the @idlecellars mix series is a dear friend and one of my fave selectors @cherrystones. When I was asked to curate these mixes the simple premise is to arrange a soundtrack that would accompany a nice glass of wine as the sun goes down. So when I asked Gareth Goddard aka Cherrystones (aka Godsy to his friends) for a contribution I knew it was going to be something really special and what an epic treat it is. G has always been ahead of the curve musically. So much so, people have created entire record labels around his discoveries and whilst people struggle to keep up he’s always a few steps ahead. I’ve often tried to get him to slow down so people can catch up. That’s never gonna happen. Truth is, I’ve learnt so much from Godsy. For the next in our Off The Record mix series we invited DJ, radio host and music consultant Sam Don or known to his close friends and family, Sam Donnison. Sam is a DJ's DJ, having proved himself and the world over as a man of many styles, tempo and moods. Having shared the airwaves with highly regarded talent like Danilo Plessow aka MCDE and constructed mind soothing mixes for podcasts like Mr Bongo its quite hard to pin point what direction Sam will go in a set. This also shows the sign of a true digger and if Off The Record knows anything its deep diggers. This digging helped Sam curate one of the most captivating compilation series' to come out this year in our opinion; "For The Love Of You", a journey through Lover's Rock across two brilliant volumes on the ever amazing Athens Of The North. For this mix Sam has tapped into a deep dig of fun yet raw house numbers, stemming with vocals, hypnotic acid, heavenly kicks and cunning blends throughout. RTS TEST PRESSING MIX

Eric Dunks Duncan started DJ-ing in Manhattan’s Downtown bar and club circuit in the mid 90’s.
In 1996 he stepped out of the DJ booth to help curate music for the Girl Skateboards movie titled ‘Mouse’. 
A couple of years later, Eric along with Thomas Bullock formed the AfterHours party outfit ‘Rub-N-Tug’. 
In 2006 Eric & Liv Spencer started ‘Still Going’ releasing 2 singles on DFA Records including ‘Still Going Theme’ & ’Spaghetti Circus’ the later featuring the ultra talented Reggie Watts on vocals.
Eric Duncan aka Dr. Dunks has remixed as himself or as part of his collaborations:
Daniele Baldelli, Locosolus, Bryan Ferry, Robbie Williams, Laid Back, Grace Jones, Cold Play, Roxy Music, LCD Soundsystem, Canyons, TV Baby, Beastie Boys, Zero 7, Material, The Presets, Lindstrom, Doves, Todd Terje, Groove Armada & the list goes on. 
He is now relocated in Bali, Indonesia where he is a resident DJ at Potato Head Beach Club and works in the studio while ‘trying’ to learn how to surf in his spare time :)
