We're kicking November off with a mix from California-born DJ and producer P Relief, who has recorded 60+ minutes of blissful electronics for Theory Therapy 45. 

This mix aims straight at your dopamine receptors; at least for us it does. Ambient pads, breakbeats, dubbed-out drums—it’s such a good example of the range that Parker consistently brings to his sets. It weaves between a bunch of different styles and sub-genres but even with all the twists and turns, the Berlin-based DJ has carefully constructed a coherent vibe and as usual, the selections are absolutely on point. We’ll be listening to this one a lot over the Aussie summer, thanks Parker <3

I’m genuinely excited to share a new guest mix by the talented London-based artist Daniel Magee. Daniel has been a source of inspiration to us for quite some time now. About 6-7 years ago, he caught our attention with his amazing project, Lo Kindre, where he created a unique blend of dub-not-dub psychedelia, enriched with the distinct sounds of clanking drum machines.

A bit later, Daniel teamed up with Thomas Lea Clarke to launch the remarkable label, Phase Group. Every release under Phase Group, whether it’s a new track, a series of mixes, or their residency on Glaswegian Clyde Built Radio, consistently amazes me and inspire. It’s truly a treasure trove for anyone with curious ears.

I also have to mention the Aibell’s Harp label, where Daniel releases his own project, Yate Surge. It’s an emotional journey through blurry drone no wave with a rich variety of textures that really stands out.

For De Kat Memwa, Daniel recorded a sophisticated and touching mix, perfect for an evening stroll, reflecting on nature, or some deep journaling before bed.

I’m thrilled to host Daniel and this beautiful mix. It resonates deeply with my current mood and world perception and represents a new stage in the De Kat Memwa mix series.
