Matale is a visual artist and a Dj from Mitrovica, Kosovo. She is the co-founder of Bijat, a music collective dedicated to providing a platform for women and queers in the Prishtina electronic music scene. She’s also the co-founder of Prishtine is Burning, a club night
dedicated to the drag scene of Prishtina. Some of the main clubs and festivals who hosted her are Boiler Room, Sonic Acts, Dokunights, Club Drugstore, Dokutech, Popoff Kitchen etc. She was also a guest artist in some of the predominant world-famous radio shows of the underground scene like NTS Radio, Radio80000, Jerome Mixfile and Soft Spot.

This is my opening set for one of the musically coolest club nights I experienced in Bochum. I had the honor to open the floor for @djspit030, one of my absolute favourite DJs. Thanks to @alice_and_bob for the invitation! And thanks to Schlegel Kultur Club for hosting! <3

Starts very smooth but slowly crystallizes into a high energy club set. There are few mistakes, but I am, however, very very happy with it! Also I am glad that it got recorded, which doesn't happen many times, so consider this a rare treat! hehe...

NEW MAGIC MEDIA is a moniker of DJ, artist, and writer based in Prague. NMM started like a VJ but shortly converted behind the decks. S/he wrote about music for media such as @advojka.cz, @a2larm.cz, or @croradiowave. S/he is a resident and community member of Prague's @radio_punctum with their bi-monthly show called Wenom. In their sets NMM reflects more on their free-party and noise/punk roots and invites more unsettling, ravey, and techno sound. Their selections circulate between all imaginable soundscapes and there is often a lot of space for obscurities and surprising twists. But the context is everything and the mosaic always makes sense in a bigger picture. But basically, the main factor is their current mood and current musical obsessions.
