Kevin J is a 22 years old music producer from the Netherlands, he has been making music for roughly 7 years now and he always used to experiment with a lot of genres and styles. Kevin J originally did a lot of EDM kind of music, later transferring onto Hip Hop but after some time he thought it was time for something refreshing. after more than a whole year in Lockdown, without parties, I just kept producing and remixing like crazy. i had some podcasts requests, and because of that, i finally got myself behind the decks again. the podcasts are good, but i tend to the fact, that you can here that it s homerecorded, planned and is always different , than a recording from a live performance. THIS recording was a play around, I just started and went with the flow and tried out.i really loved playing and mixing new tracks, i haven t played my own last releases, and i tried out some upcoimng , unreleased travks. it also felt good, to listen to new music by others and working with their tracks...if there are some fuckups in this recording: sorry, not sorry...this is as raw and honest as it should be and I had fun,  so well : No Apology necessary!

Its almost weekend, and we have yet another podcast incoming. 
This time we are joined from Austria by @djchrisnord for episode 021 of the Kellercast. 🔊🎶🎶🎶🇦🇹🇦🇹🇩🇰🇩🇰



Chris Nord, a dj and producer from Salzburg in Austria, discovered his passion for electronic music in the early 90s. Back then he started fooling around with toy keyboards as a child and later on he became fascinated with playing the drums. This was not the ideal instrument for keeping family harmony intact, but brought the groove and rhythm into his life.

This was the beginning of an evolving and still ongoing passion for electronic music. 

When you find him behind the decks in a club or at a festival, you can expect a groovy mix between minimalistic deep tech and minimal techno with a dark and gloomy touch, spiced up with signature groovy elements. In terms of production and his style hereof, Chris always kept various musical options open. His tracks vary from the deeper floating sounds to more minimalistic and bass heavy (Minimal) Techno tracks. 
But the one thing in common for all tracks, is the energy in them, focusing that on the dance floor. During time, Chris has released and remixed on labels such as; Mothr Music (ARG), Trippy Cat Berlin (soon) UDGK Black, Underground Kollektiv (UK), Gibbon Records (UK) to mention a few. 
His most recent work, a  new EP will hit the stores on june 7th on the label, Amped. 

At the moment Chris is playing regularly at clubs and venues in the area of Salzburg/Austria and he also hosts his monthly radio show; DARK PRESSURE on the UK-based Radio and Label called; UNDERGROUND KOLLEKTIV (@underground_kollektiv), where he’s a resident. Last but not least, he also co-founded the succesfull event-series called; TIEFDRUCK (@tiefdrucksalzburgszg2020) at the end of 2018, a project also know for their own popular podcast, that focusses on darker and minimal aspects of techno.

Its time to sit back and enjoy the ride and let music do its thing,
