Jedifire Mc is a jungle drum & bass lyricist from South East London. I have fast lyrics, ragga and rap styles. 
I started my jungle music journey back in 1996. Djing jungle and freestyling rhymes with friends and family. I found inspiration from Djs Grooverider, hype, andy c, rap, Darren jay, micky finn, randall, jj frost. mcs hyper d, fearless, gq , rage , flux . producers shy fx, roni size, dillinja, andy c ray keith target. Also jungle dnb fm london radio was full of talented djs,mcs and producers! Stations such as kool fm, pressure fm, rude awakening, rinse fm, had so many good shows!

I Djed on rude awakening fm and rinsed it out proper! Eventually my love of writing bars took over and I decided to focus on lyrical martial arts. I became jedifire mc. I mced at world dance with dj vibes & mc mc new years 1998 which was a amazing experience and vibe for a young mc.
I went on to perform at tilbury festival, telegraph, glasshouse, mass, rhythm factory and notting hill carnival.I have featured on jungle and drum n bass sets with -Original sin, Tantrum desire, Sigma, Dj vibes, Nicky Blackmarket, Darren jay, Dj Zen, inside info, Dj L Plus(Slovakia), Dj Nymfo(Holland), Ash Attack, Dj Krucial, Devious Dee, Dj C.Phone (no money - Czech dnb producers), Twenty Freeze(Austria).

I thought I could share some of my own personal songs. Although they are very ruff "Song Of The Day!" Made under 24 hours. Please feel free to add to my list!
I write a LOT. My way is to churn songs out, bin them and churn more out. I'm no perfectionist. The aim is to improve over time, not to sit down and craft the perfect pop song on the first attempt.
By giving myself the freedom to experiment without pressure I will develop the creative part of my brain instead of the over analytical part. And I try to do that with other arts as well. Pop/Rock songwriter, Sting commented once that he finds it harder to write great songs now that he has become more analytical of music. So go with the flow, leave the analytical part for those who tend to forget why we listen music overall.
I'll try to be fearless with my songs. It’s OK if I write a crap song. What is not OK is to try and convince everyone that it’s a great song! I'll try to get feedback and allow people to be honest, that way I will start to learn what you like and do the opposite. 
I am talking about combining opposites such as spiccato and ligatto (short and long). When you have long held chords, try a shorter or snappier vocal line. Have a funky bass line? You might want to opt for a simpler, more solid guitar part. It’s simple stuff, but worth thinking about when writing or producing.
As we learn to write songs we naturally analyse what works and what doesn’t. We absorb new chord structures and develop an obsession for doing things the ‘correct’ way. The way I have always tried to grow out of. This is great as far as improving song writing goes, but somewhere along the way you lose the ability to invent something new. I am not afraid to break the rules. If it sounds good then I'll do it!
Raw talent can take someone 10% of the way to success, but hard work and determination make up the rest!
The problem with naturally talented people is that they never learn failure and find it harder to accept defeat. People who are average (but with a desire to win) are in many ways better equipped to stay the course and succeed long term.
Once I had the technical knowledge I need to write music, try and develop the part of your brain that can listen to and analyse the whole picture, instead of focusing on tiny details.
I try to focus to hear instantly what is needed to make my songs work. Does it need more emotion? More energy? Is the vocal melody boring? By focusing on the whole picture I’ll be able to find the answers quicker by being honest and brutal with myself.
We all know that there are common lyrical themes in music. I would guess that the topic of ‘love’ is the most widely used lyrical theme. Using tried and tested themes can be a good thing, but I  always try to say it differently.
I know so many musicians who agree that the best songs are the simplest, yet they can’t write simple songs themselves? It is a kind of ‘musicians curse’ to assume that complicated means better. Get used to writing simpler songs that have more hooks and adhere to common (natural) arrangement structures.
Remember, I will hear the song over and over but you as audience will have to ‘get’ it on the first listen.  So I tend to keep it simple! 
I like working with others, I've done it a lot. In many cases more heads really can be better than one. And there is always learning process behind working with other musicians and songwriters.
Working with others forces you to move away from your comfort zone and in my experience produces better songs. The process of getting input from more people during the writing process is healthy and makes it unlikely that you’ll write a real stinker!
Have you ever worked on a song for 15 hours straight and been totally disappointed with the result? It’s happened to me many times!:)
Doing anything and everything creative can lead you down a rabbit hole of endless ideas that (if no breaks are taken) it has spiral me into complex introverted expression. In other words, go to nature, listen birds, winds, rains, the sounds of nature and heal. Take a bloody break and come back with fresh ears!

Back in the year 2000, the first EVILROBO party "MEGATRONS IN YOUR CLOSET" set off a number of events that followed increasing the love of electro music in Ontario, Canada and surrounding areas. After entering the TRIBE MAGAZINE DJ COMPETITION in 2002, and winning first place for THE MIX CD OF THE YEAR AWARD, he secured a spot headlining the main techno tent at DESTINY'S 3 Day outdoor electronic festival. Since that time his mixes have travelled the globe and have even been featured on Paris, France's radio show, CYBERDELIA .

 NICODEMUS also made regular dj performances on ED'S BAD RECORD'S on CKMS 100.3. DJing alongside EDDIE C of the PLATETECHTONICS CREW which NICODEMUS joined with DJ DRY and DJ ETERNAL. (The PTC CREW for short) made dj band performances as a turntablist electro hip group at the EVILROBO events.

 In the past year after living outwest for a few years, Nicodemus has returned to eastern CANADA and re-vamped the "EVILROBO ELECTRO SERIES " of underground events, starting 2012 off with "REQUIEM FOR THE MACHINES" which featured DJ TWONZ of highjacked records from DETROIT. 7 evilrobo events have followed, and EVILROBO continues to be alive and well into 2015

 NICODEMUS now lives between Vancouver/Toronto, Canada having completed school for Audio Engineering and Sound Design for Visual Media. He is poised to keep playing records where ever possible keeping electro alive.

 Armed with 3 - Technics turntables, Serato, Ableton Live and the Novation LauchPAD, he is prepared to unleash an army of robotic electro-techno to any dancefloor that stands before him.



Khylune is a rare breed in today's music scene- a musician's musician, flawlessly compiling a track list of songs that showcase how eclectic his musical style is as a singer/songwriter. 

His debut album "Love Found Me" underlines just how influential his time spent in the UK and US was to him, developing into his own brand of musical maturity.

Born in the cultural hub of Malaysia, Khylune had his first encounter with music at an early age when he sang gospels in his local churches. He spent the first six years of his singing career traveling extensively across South East Asia performing live shows. It was during this all-embracing tour that he learnt first hand how to grow as a musician, constantly fine tuning his songs and performances to provide a show that his ever-growing audience would ultimately embrace and appreciate. 

However, it wasn't until he took a well deserved break from touring that he learnt the value of musical craftsmanship and the importance of exploring the myriads of genres he would eventually intorduce into his recitals. Khylune made use of his extended break, taking the opportunity to study performing arts in the UK which led him to experiment with song writing. Writing his own songs and compositions proved to be Khylune's forte.

Khylune has a rather introspective view of the music industry; intrigued and fascinated by its ever quickening pace, yet cognizant of the industry’s complex structure. The constantly evolving trends and newer and bolder genres of music that shift in popularity can often be intimidating to the listener and newcomers in the music world. It is not difficult to be diluted by the current hype or ‘the sound’ of the moment. However, Khylune takes pride in keeping true to his original stance. He lives by the idea that classic music is rudimentary to his compositions. It provides a powerful and valid songwriting foundation and is never unfashionable. The great classics that survived the onslaught of time are testament to that hypothesis. Khylune takes a page out of his greatest idols; Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole and Nina Simone, whose songs are still played in circulation today. Their performances are considered legendary due to the fact that their sound will always be heralded as timeless and admired by all musicians. 

Khylune's late foster father, Arthur Mogull, a successful music producer in Los Angeles and one time co-owner of United Artists Records, was the main inspiration for Khylune's school of thought. He instilled an unwavering belief that Khylune has put into practice; to be fearless and willing to take risks. With that in mind, Khylune co wrote the "Love Found Me" album in 2011 with some of the most talented writers across the USA. He wrote and composed the album hoping that others find his work personal, yet entertaining all the same.

In the summer of 2013 Khylune will be releasing his first album of covers called “UNCOVERED”. The song choices in it are archetypal of his predilection for diversity. Not too long after that, he will also be premiering his new official single called “SHUT UP AND DANCE” The hit single MADE IN CHINA was released on September 22nd 2013 to worldwide airplay by Musik Radio Promotions and picked up by the BBC network for airplay in minutes.

In keeping up with the ever evolving trend and current mania of music shows in and around South East Asia, Khylune has taken the decision to spend a greater portion of his time around the region over the next few years and to work on his first Mandarin album.
