On our 19th instalment of the series, we welcome an Amsterdam based young Dj/producer, CARDO.

As a kid he saw his father spinning records all the time and these experiences with music had a great influence on his life. This ultimately became his inspiration for becoming an artist himself and made him turn this passion into solid ambitions.
+
CARDO’s sound tends more to the deeper and abstract side of techno. He uses this sound to build up tension by subtly increasing the intensity of the atmosphere in his sets.
He already delivered his sound in multiple clubs as Paradiso, Panama and the Spanish club, Zeppelin.

Next to playing dj-sets, CARDO also started to focus on producing and putting together a live set. Therefore he recently started his own label COMPLOT and his productions are already supported by Dutch masters ROD and Sterac.

Hailing from her native Tilburg, Julie has been on the radar of local clubs for a while, earning herself a residency at Gin Fizz and Suburban Disco before her fast-paced, rolling, percussion-driven techno reached a wider audience. Playing piano from an early age, she has honed her ear for the melody and rhythm that are so evident in each of her sets today. As a regular at https://soundcloud.com/draaimolen events, Julie shared the bill with the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Dasha Rush and Barker, effortlessly submerging the listener into a state of enchantment and trance.
