The title track of Gwillz’ Pressure EP is exactly that - pressure in its purest form. From the outset, a haunting, tension-fuelled intro pulls you in, as tight, rolling drums step in early to set the pace. Layered throughout, the sample ‘Pressure’ teases what’s about to unfold, guiding you straight into a weighty onslaught of bassline destruction. Gwillz’ production is next level, bringing unrelenting low-end energy and razor-sharp drum work that’ll have roller heads fully locked in. But just when you think you’ve got the measure of it, halfway through, the track flips into halftime madness - an absolute switch-up, where foghorns and mutated basses take control, dragging the vibe into an old-school dubstep-infused frenzy. The track closes out in the best way possible, merging classic deep dub energy with the new-school sound of DnB rollers, leaving no doubt that Pressure is a force to be reckoned with. Pressure lands as part of the Pressure EP – don’t get caught under it.

Every time I'm impressed by the range of quality in my productions, and hearing the final finish tells me I'm on the right track. The mastering process is complex; each time I feel like I'm achieving the exact point required.
