The Good, The Bad, The Dad.

 There are countless conversations parents around the world mutually hope to avoid ever having to discuss. However, because of what technology makes available to this young generation, its extremely easy for a teens life to be ruined forever at the instant click of a button. Truth is, our kids are being exposed to a lot more… a lot sooner. So, now your asking yourself, well then, what do we do as parents, to help our kids avoid falling victim to this kind of exposure. Heres the answer, prepare them with as much information you have, as soon you can.

	Which is the why I, Vince, and my two daughters, Saniya, experiencing early teenage life heading into her freshman year, and Norah, just a year and a half away from her first teenage birthday, have decided to start this podcast where no conversation will be off limits. I have 4 kids and I've been a father for over 14 years. I have learned by now, the more you talk, the more you'll know, and I feel my daughters and i have a fair, and open line of communication, which makes those awkward topics really easy for us to discuss as a family.

        And Now, the girls and i have finally decided to share them with the world, giving young teens and parents a place they can tune in on the most necessary jaw dropping discussions. We hope our podcast helps families grow unbreakable bonds from better understanding each other. We also hope to encourages our listeners to continue to have their own conversations and also develop more personal parent children relationships.


New Age Dad was created to be my personal journal where I can express joys and fears of being a father. As a person who grew up fatherless, I found it very difficult to be a father when my first son was born. I had very little men to go to for advice and at that time I was the only father in my circle of friends.  Over the years my father and I have reconnected and now have a rewarding father son relationship. He has helped me deal with a lot of my past issues and I have helped him understand the impact of his absence.

New Age Dad’s objective is to be a location where fathers/fatherhood can be celebrated, uplifted and a place where fathers can connect to support one another. Our goal is to help improve the lives of American’s youth by empowering the men in their lives.

I hope that you enjoy New Age Dad as much as I enjoy posting about Fatherhood.

About MIXMASTERS (Master J, Kodi Starr and King Terra)
The UK base music crew influenced by their Jamaican and UK roots. Dj Master J, Kodi Starr and Dj King Terra campaign ranges from radio shows, festivals, night clubs, organising events for all ages, mix CDs, writing and music production with a slew of dub plates to back them up.

Whilst most Djs/ crews prefers a Dj booth, for the MIXMASTERS there is no place like home and their home is the stage, the bigger the better for a whole other level of musical entertainment. 

Music production is having been and is becoming a prominent part of their success and will be showcased a lot more. Kodi Starr has secured two number one spots in the BBC 1Extra dancehall charts with popular Dancehall artist Stylo G and presently working with several major labels and artists in the UK. Both Kodi Starr and Master J tours with Stylo G has his Dj and has assisted in the artist elevated performances. Master J is also a ghost writer for several UK artists and is good at predicting hits. Dj Terra held one of the biggest unsigned talent cyphers and has a good ear for new artists.

About DJ Master J
Dj Master J is MIXMASTERS main Dj and master of ceremony, quick on the mic and ready with the hot tracks that will get any show going anywhere.

Born and raised in Kingston Jamaica and later took up residency in the United Kingdom as a teenager. With strong Jamaican musical interest and a passion for global music, he was easily able to take his place in London as one of their household Djs on the Dancehall, Reggae, Soca, RnB and Hip-hop scene.

About Kodi Starr
Kodi Starr is MIXMASTERS official producer, sound engineer, host and Dj. With an ear for the right tracks and future hits. 

Kodi Starr born of Spanish Town, Jamaica.  Music had been influential in Kodi’s life from a very young age, because his father (Poison Chang), who was a recording artist during the 90s, with hits like “Press Up” that Made it to the J.A and UK Charts. By the age of 10 he already had experience recording vocals in the studio to being on stage performing with his dad and now Stylo G and other international artists. 

About DJ King Terra
Dj King Terra is MIXMASTERS official DJ from London, UK, He is as sharp on the desks as he is with selecting the right tracks for any party crowd. 

Born and raised in north London, he has been and grown up around some of the strongest Djs and musical talents of the city. He soon realised at a young age attending secondary school that he also had a talent for making people feel good through music. He was always picked as the Dj for talent shows, family functions and now top events arenas around the world.

Music runs in my blood—raised in Canada with a DJ dad who sparked my love for studios, records, and mics. From flute and choir to secret late-night radio shows, storytelling and song have been my life.
I fuse Country, Jazz, Pop, and Swing into raw, honest tracks—all home-produced with keyboard, ukulele, and simple gear. Influenced by legends like Johnny Cash, Daniel Lanois, and Rickie Lee Jones.
