Muérdago was inspired by Adelaida's time spent living in a Victorian house in London surrounded by two churches in South East Twelve. Its haunted garden, curious inhabitants and its magical occurrences are the protagonists of the album. The many uncanny experiences, friendships, and relationships of this time and place in her life played an immeasurable part in shaping the person she became. It is an album of many questions, few answers, with carefully curated sonic mantras leading the way.

Using from choral ambient to dark baroque electronics to create an ASMR labyrinth of sorrow, bliss, and angered desire, its sound is a mix of eclectic, avant garde and experimental sound aesthetics. The vocals and production of the album are a departure in constant flux with the artist-singer taking on the role of a rhapsode. Her voice’s many tones and textures lead the listener on an labyrinthic journey that reverberates inwards and outwards until it arrives.

Muérdago premiered at Sónar 2024 with an atmospheric and pictoric performance, and she will start touring in September 2024.

-Tell us a little about yourself? 

My name is Francisco Morgan, aka. Mujipuki, I'm 21 and I was born and raised in Porto, Portugal! 

-How would you describe the city and music scene there at the moment?

It's a small city (Porto) but with very much to explore. A lot of gorgeous places. I don't go out that much, so I don't feel like I'm the right person to make that judgment. However, I do feel we have a strong and rich music scene, covering practically every genre.

-What have you been listening to recently?

I've been re-listening to Jay-Z's "4:44", one of my favorite albums of all time. 

-Who is your earliest musical influence?

Daft Punk, I started to make music because of them. 

-Anything coming  up soon - project/ gigs/ releases ?

Still figuring out my next album... meanwhile I have a pretty nice mix on Movedizo, thanks to the coolest and dearest Amelia Holt :) <3
