My Obsession

Fresh off the back of the double AA release Lemonade, The Fritz returns with the latest installment of his film-noir inspired Jazz Hop series. 

Dripping with atmosphere and intrigue is the title track 'Good Morning, Sunshine', which features a rolling vintage-jazz sample, crisp drums, and a vocal hook from Raymon Chandler's The Big Sleep. Hot on its heels is followed up by 'Oohh!', a unique swung-out groover featuring a very Fritzy-sample from a country-inspired jazz album - yee haw!

Full Tilt Collective's new single features 2 tracks from the forthcoming EP Raise the Roof.  The lead track Insane Again blends a hip hop drum beat with nods to the big band era, including muted trumpets and call and response vocals that guarantee a crowd singalong when performed live. Two years of solitude leave their mark in a song that talks of a slipping grip on reality, becoming more frantic and impassioned as it builds to its heady climax.

B-side O.T.T (One Tonne Tone) launches with a blast of unapologetic instrumental funk; a crunchy riff juxtaposed against a ghostly trombone line. The song’s outro kicks into a new gear as overdriven guitar battles with a scorching sax solo which demonstrates the musicianship that complements the bands raucous energy.
