Everyone is born with dreams but few people actually take the steps to follow them, Fatboi Dash is a true dream chaser, never settling for anything less than what he wants out of life, in addition to always sharpening his craft to be greater than the day before. Darren “Fatboi Dash” Robinson formally known as “D Dash,” was born in Long Branch, N.J. on August 16, 1987. His grandmother whom he loves dearly raised him in Neptune, NJ. “Mama made me, Grandma raised me.” As a child he always had dreams of becoming a basketball player, until he fell in love with the art of music. He began writing/rapping at the age of 10, thanks to his uncle, whom which he became influenced by. During his rap career he has finished 3 projects, 2 Mixtapes “NJ’s Menace”(2008) and “Back 2 Tha Hussle”(2011) and 1 EP “Higher EP”(2013) all under the name he was formally known as D Dash. He also has a couple collaborations with Smitty (artist from the hit song, Diamonds on My Neck) called, “Fresher Than a Newborn” and Fred Money (JR Writer’s Little Brother) called “CTC (Cut The Check).” In 2014 Dash says, “I finally became the person I always wanted to be, me.” He then changed his name to Fatboi Dash. He’s currently working on his latest project “Just Weight On It,” which should be dropping later on this year. Fatboi Dash believes in order to achieve your goals you have to put in work that’s why he works so hard to release great music that people can feel and relate to. My name is Steve, and I am an absolute video-gaming nerd who has a burning passion for music, sound design, and voice acting. I am a self taught music composer, and began my journey in my early 20's.
