From the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, DJ & Producer Scarda is rapidly making a name for himself in the local circuit. Since young, Scarda has taken an aspiration in musical knowledge and production, with his past showing talent in playing both guitar and piano before discovering the electronic dance scene. Since then, he has worked hard to draw inspiration from sounds both near in Australia and abroad, to develop over the last few years to what is now his highly informed knowledge of both production and DJing. Taking sources of inspiration from the current underground and minimal house scene right across the world continues to inform his musical style. Hypnotic basslines, tripped-out vocal cuts and groovy tech sounds formulate Scarda’s production, mirroring the best in the minimal house scene with his own unique spin. Alongside his production, Scarda is a popular fixture at various clubs in and around Melbourne, mainly showcasing his own unreleased work as he plays. With a long-standing residency under Melbourne party imprint Cave Sessions, he also holds a multitude of other club shows under his belt including a frequent residency at Circus Bar.
