Music to a point is directly associative and always carries stereotypic and archaic values. In opposition to real life physical sounds electronically created sounds and music throw you back to the beginning of sound - the sine wave. To go from there is a welcome challenge and a lot of fun which both expresses well in the album. "

Motel Hell is back after a much needed vacation and this episode Dick Fetti takes the reins to discuss his penultimate obsession, Finnish industrial music. Dick Fetti touches briefly on the history of the genre, his own introduction to it and discusses some of the key artists, record labels, themes and elements of the style.  From Grunt to Bizarre Uproar, Aural Hypnox and Umpio, Unclean and STROM.ec, this obscure world is presented to you, the disturbed listener. As it happens, Dick Fetti has so much to share on the subject the gang will back with a second part to wrap it all up.

To start things off our hosts review the 2011 Australian true-crime biopic “Snowtown” by Justin Kurzel. Dick Fetti recommends some more metal and the Beardo recommends an essential Blu-ray box set.

22: Terror & Degeneration - The Suomi Industrial Chaos Kollektive

Dick Fetti is back to lead listeners and co-hosts alike further into a topic no-one cared to learn more about, Finnish industrial music. This week there’s more music, more detail about labels, artists, and venues, even worse pronunciation(!!!) and expanded stories of personal shame, winter madness and blacked-out boozing. So if you thought last week’s episode wasn’t for you, you’re gonna hate this one!

But first our hosts brave the high seas to report on the 1980 haunting masterpiece, “Death Ship” by Alvin Rakoff. Dick Fetti’s disco box has tunnel vision this week and the Beardo recommends one of the good ongoing horror comic book series.

This week Ben the Beardo and Dick Fetti interview "crime scene cleanup technician" Mike, from the Bay Area of California. Mike share's about what an average day looks like in the field, the grossest work sites, the hardest stains to clean and the toll the job can take on a person. And as a bonus, Mike also shares about his power electronics project, Striations, and his label Nefarious Activities. So bring your hazmat suit and hand sanitizer, because it's time to get down to the nitty-gritty of human waste.

But first the boys review Takeshi Kitano's excellent 1989 directorial debut, "Violent Cop".

30: Interview With a Crime Scene Cleanup Technician

This week Motel Hell celebrate the legendary British heavy metal band Carcass with an in depth history lesson. Dick Fetti outlines the history of the band from its suburban origins in 1986 through to its best album of all, 1991's "Necroticism - Descanting the Insalubrious". And of course, to kick things off, the boys review the 1986 horror-comedy "Chopping Mall" by Jim Wynorski.

Motel Hell return to review the second half of Carcass's original legacy and discuss their post-reunion work. And this time there are some song samples for our listeners. But first the boys review the ruthlessly nihilistic Japanese film "Organ", directed by Kei Fujiwara and released in 1996.
