'7 Years Of Winter' is a story told by The Monarch about falling into an abusive relationship and slowly realizing the 'snow' is stripping you of everything you are until eventually you come out the other end, changed of everything you were.

'Homesick' is a special kind of project.

The Monarch finds themselves homebound from a seemingly diagnosable illness that has rendered the body weak, keeping them from work. 

While our butterfly has been home, sick she began to feel homesick for the snow, remembering how she first began to fall in love with frostbitten lips. This is when The Monarch finally stepped into her home recording booth and decided it was time, making 'Homesick' the first fully home recorded song in the Clockbutterflies saga with the butterflies teaming up with @schmiddi090 who produced the beat and mix & mastered the song.

'With Me' is an anthem of the unheard.

'With Me' seeks to bring awareness to the uncomfortable subject of sexual abuse which often goes undiscussed in trade of comfortability. Something disturbing happens inside of a survivors mind once they've become the unheard, or the silenced. 

Venus (Rosy Maple) Raine sings with me in order to help spread the message of 'Clockbutterflies' as an integral part to the story. In addition The Monarch joins Venus Raine in singing 'With You' the sister song to this release.

'All Alone' sees The Monarch struggling to deal with the burdens of past traumas. 

Desperate to figure out why they've been cast into an existence of solitude, this butterfly uses it's clock to rewind time, to look further into the past. 

A butterfly out of time, a butterfly stuck on rewind.
This is the last chance The Monarch has.

All Alone

'Leave Your Side' is a ballad of longing for something so beautiful, yet so destructive. This song is about what it feels like to be in love with your downfall. This song is about domestic violence.

In the eyes of the masses domestic abuse is depicted as bruises and black eyes when the truth is much more an umbrella. It never starts as cigarette seared wrists and holes in the walls. It never starts as anything less than a fairytale. A story written so perfectly to match the missing pieces within ourselves we would of been fools to not take the chance.

Clockbutterflies is an idea dreamt up by The Monarch. This belief has become a mission for them to take on, to reach all the butterflies around the world who have been through harsh weather's such as they. 

To let them know they are not alone as they once felt, and that should they keep going there is a light and a family waiting for them on the other side.  

The music released through Clockbutterflies will entail heavy themes such as abusive relationships, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, childhood trauma, addiction, suicidal and loss, betrayal and much much more. 

More than anything, they will tell a story of The Monarch's life through a series of songs.

Though there are three original Butterflies, they will not be the last, over time more butterflies will join and have their voices be heard, each embodying a butterfly. 

Clockbutterflies is a mission to change a world so wrong and The Monarch will see it through.
