Official posting of 'If I Die' by Clockbutterflies. 

'If I Die' is a promise told by The Monarch, written with her own blood after a deadly encounter with a venomous spider pretending to be a butterfly. Once The Monarch had escaped the winter she began to finally spread her wings after 7 years of blistering cold.

For a moment, she felt happy. She could feel herself once more, her heartbeat returning, she felt love returning into her heart. She made a family, a big family just for her, but this is when she met the Witsy Whiskey Spider.

The snow could not kill The Monarch, but The Widow?
She inflicted a poison so deadly the butterfly's clock barely speaks to her anymore. It lie silent in her hand, reminding her of how still she laid those nights.

The nights with The Spider. 
The Monarch has never been good at telling people no, after all, The Monarch lives to serve others. 

But she said no, and she reasoned with the Spider, and she fought until it was clear her pleas would be unheard and this was when The Monarch lost her wings before truly ever getting to fly.

The day the venom activated within her skin, The Monarch's clock began racing backwards and if not for Atala, she would not be here any longer.

Atala would be the driving factor behind The Monarch writing the story 'Clockbutterflies'.

A reminder that there are still butterflies in this garden that need their help, and so The Monarch borrows time from her clock, but when will she pay the dues?

Clockbutterflies is an idea dreamt up by The Monarch. This belief has become a mission for them to take on, to reach all the butterflies around the world who have been through harsh weather's such as they. 

To let them know they are not alone as they once felt, and that should they keep going there is a light and a family waiting for them on the other side.  

The music released through Clockbutterflies will entail heavy themes such as abusive relationships, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, childhood trauma, addiction, suicidal and loss, betrayal and much much more. 

More than anything, they will tell a story of The Monarch's life through a series of songs.

Though there are three original Butterflies, they will not be the last, over time more butterflies will join and have their voices be heard, each embodying a butterfly. 

Clockbutterflies is a mission to change a world so wrong and The Monarch will see it through.
