Midnight Hypnosis ~2011

The Story Behind This Project:

Long time ago when i was about 14 my very creative uncle who is a multi-istrumentalist presented me a peculiar gift: A whole huge library of very short loops and samples along with a specific and obscure software to edit them together and create tracks this way. (ALL those loops were matching in tempo, so it was kind of magic and so easy to play with) Can't even remember the name of that software now, but what i loved about it is how easily i could transform with it the loops that i had all the way up or down on the scale of higher or lower notes, without interfering the lenght of the loop - if you understand what i mean. This opened up a world of possibilities for me back then. It was my first real creative adventure. Purely for fun! Some time ago i managed to remaster some of those compositions that survived the test of time. Hope you enjoy the listening. Cheers!

This is one of my very first most succesful earliest compositions once i started my adventure in Fruity Loops. (that later changed its name to FL Studio) The first hit that really made it! First version was a bit different, but not long after it was made i created this enhanced version. Sadly the original project file was engulfed by the harsh winds of time -irretrievably. Space can be a tough place. Hear my warning - beware of space-winds! But most of all, of course, beware of the legendary Space Medusa that roams the deepest corners of the universe... Or so they say. Supposedly it can melt your space-engines from lightyears away in nanoseconds!!

Probably the most interesting track that happened before the Space Medusa. :) I wish more of these tracks made it to this time, eh! 

Managed to remaster it some years ago, although without having the original project file.

Unforseen Illuminations ~2011 (Remastered)

Heyo! While i'm managing to overcome my typical regular creative block on my main account, i'm throwing here in yet another fantastic relic, hopefully for some of you to enjoy!

Nice to get back to this one! Hope you enjoy this second piece including me and Noah. This time not a full collab, but a decent remix approach from me, if i may say so myself. It still feels like a great collab piece, because this track was already quite greatly developed when Noah did publicly announce it to be specifically intended for remixing for soundclouders, and it did feel like adding to it and enriching the mix to flesh it all out to the fullest was the best idea. Today i think this mix is someway unusual, maybe best on headphones? Cheers!:)

Noah Hornberger - I'm Finally Free (Amomus Remix) ~2013

Welcome to Amomus Archives. A place to put the dusty remnants of Amomus's creativity from his earliest times of music-making. You may find the aforementioned dust to have a mystical quality as well as the remnants themselves may seem like some relics of a very dawn of an era of experimentation. 

In other words - a second life for early works and experiments! Apart from Sample City project (2003) the tracks appearing will be from around 2011/2014.

I hope some of them will be an interesting find.:) Cheers!
