Ryan “RyanD” Dyson Better known by his stage name “RyanD” Is a Australian HipHop Artist and Producer from a small town of Echuca. The 25 year old RyanD has certified himself in hiphop over the last 2 years making hit records such as “So Afraid” off the 2021 album “Motive”. With other hit records like “So Cold, Mad World, Addicted, Restless 4” and many more.

RyanD first rose to fame in 2021 after his “Motive” Album blew up to a astonishing 228,000 streams on Spotify alone while ranking astonishing close to 470,000 streams on YouTube, Spotify & Soundcloud Alone.

RyanD’s story has been a struggle after battling with being bullied, cyber bullied, drug addiction and alcoholism by the time he was just 17 years old. RyanD suffered a lot with his alcoholic father abuse and cheating on his mum, for most his life he has grown up with the support of his mother.

RyanD is known for his raw, controversial, impactful lyrics after getting a buzz in 2022 with rap beef “Ryan Rich”. RyanD has said “I don’t make music for every audience, I do it for those lost kids who are stuck finding away out” RyanD has grown up in the dark streets of Echuca, so seeing him wanting what best for his community and schools has also put a effect on his perspective to kids.

RyanD in 2022 also managed to get TripleJ as well as also performing months later. RyanD has stated that “I shouldn’t be in this position but my autism has something planned and I don’t know what but it’s a fun ride”. RyanD has suffered with being on the autism spectrum as well as making friends and being social. 

Come to present day the “Young King” has helped out other artist be put on the map such as “TWOPOINT0, Benz, Haidy, R@SE, MMIE and many more from South America to Australia. In 2018 RyanD linked up with rapper/producer KibbZ who he considers to be one of the best upcoming artist to date.

Since receiving recognition RyanD honours his fellow influences and his elders by referencing in multiple songs YBNG (Yorta Boys N Girls) who which he is aboriginal. The young indigenous artist looks up to his infamous family members and influences such as Briggs, Barkaa, Yung Warriors, Kobie Dee and Denni.

I think it’s safe to say that this artist has had a run for this Australian Hiphop Scene.
