Samples from my new nature sound album "Sound journey to Emajõe-Suursoo"

Emajõe-Suursoo is a vast area of mires, waterways and small forested higher grounds in middle of inaccessible wetland in Estonia, small country by the Baltic Sea. This is a delta area of river Emajõgi, its waters flowing to lake Peipsi, bordering Russia. The wetland covers more than 200 km2, being one of the largest mires in Estonia. In spring it becomes alive with all kind of creatures. Waterfields, reedbeds, swampy mires and forested bog-islands - they offer plenty of resources for many species. Human disturbance is very low and it is a perfect place for eagles and other solitary animals.

Swainsons Thrush and flying insects are busy in a thickly forested area in the mountains of Montana.  I recorded this a couple summers ago.

Bushcricket chorus, subsiding calls of seabirds and distant vocalizations of human species are blending into quiet evening soundscape. Evenings without wind are rare on Hiiumaa seaside and this was the case this time. I was lucky to be there. 26 July 2016, 22 PM. Kootsaare, Hiiumaa island, Estonia ("Hiiumaa" means "land of a giant" in Estonian. People there have their own dialect.)

Morning by the brook

Track samples from the album "Spring in Padakõrve". Album tracks have been recorded during 2015-2018, in one of the natural forest areas in eastern Estonia. In these sample clips you can hear White-backed woodpecker, Greenish warbler and other birds in May morning, Ural owls and Roe deers in April evening. 

On album, all the tracks are blended into one continuous listening experience. Enjoy!
