He comments on action steps for all nutrition support clinicians including an emphasis on legislation to pass the medical nutrition therapy act allowing reimbursement for the role of the registered dietitian.

The Interaction of Pediatric Disease-Related Malnutrition and Food Insecurity

Experts Melanie Newkirk, Jennifer Curtiss, Audrey Miller are the authors of the two papers discussed titled, “Effect of vitamin D supplementation on incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia among preterm infants <36 weeks gestational age” and “Review of micronutrients and fatty acids in bronchopulmonary dysplasia”.
