Probably the best story of both Octopath games. I had to call it quit for a day after finishing her chapter 3 and 4 bc my heart couldn't take it any more. And this track just enhances the experience much more

this song carries a lot of emotion already without even knowing Castti's story. Then chapter 3 and 4 hit and this song becomes even more effective. What a great game and soundtrack

In a comment to the text, Taube writes "...free interpretation of the Scottish poet Robert Burns' poem with the same subject, A Red, red rose" 1794. Taube thus states Robert Burns as the source.
