The guest mix in the second hour is by SRS, a DJ / Producer from London. He began mixing on vinyl in the late eighties. A regular at the Astoria Night Club in London, where Nicky Holloway ran a club night called ‘The Trip’ and where DJ’s such as Andrew Weatherall, Carl Cox, Fabio & Grooverider and DJ Hype regularly played. SRS has been producing his own tracks for 3 years and is currently working on a project under the pseudonym Lakota Rayn, producing tracks in the Deep House and Organic House genres. His mixes are deep and diverse and this one is no exception!!

Somnium is Lesser Light's first release on our new label with which the South African DJ and producer draws his audience to the darker side of the Techno realm. As his project stands for exactly that, deep, raw techno combined with dark textures and hypnotic rhythms. The main title "Somnium" is a raw Techno track with a floating lead synth that forms a hypnotic and driving unit with the deep rumble textures which could transcend many a raver into a state of trance. In Aether, Lesser Light continues the raw form of techno, albeit a little more minimalistic than the title track. But that's not all, the EP is completed by a remix by The Electronic Advance & DJ Nasty Deluxe. Their peak-time interpretation is powerful and driving with cool tribal and rave elements. Statement: An absolutely strong release, with three tracks that should convince everyone. The single is now available in all stores and on all well-known streaming services!  It all started 17 years ago from his PC at home in Portugal – mixing for his best friends.

The R Industry continued honing his ear between London and Portugal, moving through different types of electronic music – Deep House, Progressive House and Techno – filtering sound through his heart – “always expect the unexpected with every mix filled with emotion and feeling.”

Years have passed and his passion for music and new world sounds, voices, rhythms and beats has allowed him to integrate and assimilate to create truly unique soundscapes and techniques.

The R Industry dramatic intros, synths, melodies and groovy beats have contributed to his first participation in 2017’s Burn Residency Ibiza Competition in Lisbon which took him to a place in the Top 5 representing Portugal.

With roots firmly planted in Techno, The R Industry continuous playing at many private events and he remains “Just a Techno lover who loves Techno so much and putting some tracks together”.
