At this momentous juncture in my life, I feel lot more at ease for the teaming and unconditional support, encouragement and love of everyone around. It’s natural to love your work when your work gets loved, I presume.
Once my father said to me, The message was loud and clear; no matter what you do, first be a good human being. He compelled me to take part in arts in school and used to monitor my progress in details. From personal hygiene to public interaction, my father has given me valuable Lessons - perhaps that’s why I consider him as the greatest influence in my life.
I remember the first day of shooting. Everyone was kind to me to make me comfortable and I enjoyed every bit of it. After this, I did two more movies, but soon i came to Mumbai to join “Whistling Woods International”

VISHAL MALIK was born in NewDelhi, He did his schooling from Sonepat. Basically, he belongs to a political family. He developed a strong interest in acting since his childhood days. After schooling he wanted to make his career in acting but his father wanted him to study law and to be a lawyer like him as he was one of the best lawyers in Haryana. Vishal followed his father’s foot steps. Vishal Malik used to watch television a lot and all kinds of movies, that motivated him so much that he decided to make acting as his career. But his parents never supported him for choosing acting field as his father wanted him to join his Political Empire.
He went to America after words, there also he didn’t get any opportunity for joining acting career so he came back to India to continue his graduation, He then took admission in law and completed his Bachelor of Laws.
In the following year, he took admission in "O.P Jindal Global University" for his master in laws, which is one of the best and most expensive University for law in India. Vishal Malik knew that his parents won’t allow him to take up acting, but he decided that his passion is acting, and that pursuing law was definitely not his cup of tea. So he told his father that he wanted to become an actor. His father told him – “If you have decided to be an actor then you should go for the best acting school in India”. Then he took admission in “Whistling Woods International” which is among top 10 film making school in the world, located in Mumbai and is promoted by the famous filmmaker "Subhash Ghai". That was so impressive.
He has many Friends and relatives, who are working in Bollywood. They also wanted him to work in their movies, because they know very well about his interest and they have seen him as a model too. So, they encouraged him for acting as well, Then he joined bollywood to prove his Father and everyone, that he can do well by being an actor. And now he is doing extremely well in acting.

You School Days- School days were good ! I come from a family of laws and i lived up to that expectations. I was never shy of peoples, teachers were also like friends to me. I was a part of sports, dramatics, art and also school magazine's editorial board. I was an all rounder. But never loved studies...!
Tell Me some thing about ur college life- College was very tough and lot of hard work. Actor's Complain about long working hours but i never complain as i was always hard working since my school days Whistling Woods is very special, I got to learn about Acting Cinematography, Direction, Editing, fashion and camera. I started doing theatre and doing stage because of Whistling Woods International, it introduced me to the world of entertainment. Whistling Woods Plays an important role in my life and my career, if i am an actor today then its some where because of it.
What kind of work u wanna do- I m happy to be on the other side i.e acting. I dont think i can participate in any of the reality show, its really tough and you need to be paritent. As of now i m happy acting.
How do you feel TV & FIlm are diffrent from each other- Technically TV is certainly different from films, in movies you get the script, you go home, rehearse and improvise and perform next day or whenever the shoot is scheduled. Movies Mein sab kuch aaram se hota hai, but TV mien sets par subah script milti hai. There is no time to go through a script or rehearse; you have to perform immediately because of the cut to cut shooting schedules...
How are you balancing Acting and politics- Politics And Acting ! Honestly, I have never tried to balance out the two mediums. Things have just happened. Earlier i never though much but now i am aware of what i am doing and what i want to do in my life. For my both the mediums are interesting, I am totally enjoying it but i am not satisfied as there is a hunger within me to do a lot more.
Tell us about ur jouney in industry- God has been really very kind. I came here absolutely unaware of the industry & hoped things to fall in place. I struggled initially, and i was like what m i doing? But this struggle gave me a good grounding, if you get things on a platter, you don't value it. I have been fortunate that great opportunities have come my way and people have confidence and faith in me. I feel blessed for the versatile opportunities i got. Its interesting to see my graph and i feel proud of myself. It has been a great journey.

Mark is a Berlin-based DJ known for his eclectic and genre-defying sets. With a deep instinct for atmosphere and seamless transitions, he seamlessly blends elements from disco, deep house, techno, and electro with jazz fusion and space rock.

With over 30 years of experience in the European underground scene, Mark began his journey in the early '90s, playing at iconic venues such as Intensivstation in Cologne, Rheingold Saal in Düsseldorf, Doornroosje in Nijmegen, and Babylon in Mönchengladbach. In 1996, he co-founded the acclaimed Orleander DJ Team and launched the Orleander Urban Culture Network—a series of forward-thinking events that brought together international acts like Robert de La Gautier, Elbee Bad, Oliver Bondzio, Hans Nieswandt, and Highfish.

After relocating to Berlin, Mark continued to push musical boundaries with the legendary Klangspiel parties, curated alongside the Orleander Crew. These nights featured a dynamic mix of local and international DJs and live acts, including names such as Captain Comatose, Cassy, Seth Troxler, Matthew Dear, Isolée, Magda, and Tobias Neumann.

As a long-time resident DJ, Mark played a key role in shaping the musical identity of both Orleander and later Klangspiel. His taste, curation, and artistic direction were instrumental in developing the unique sound and atmosphere that defined both projects.

Throughout his career, Mark has remained committed to evolution and experimentation, consistently refusing to be confined by genre. His sets are crafted to move your body, mind, and soul—a holistic experience for true music lovers.

Where almost 90% of hiss classmates were listening Top40 charts with Wessel van Diepen he was speeding up his bike to prepare the tapes for new recordings.After diner impatient waiting till 23.00 when that chemical fullfilled music would take him on this extroardinary trips to the moon and back and all in between.
 
Half a decade later and the techno addict woke up. Celebrating this wellknown virus with his fellows @  N1, Green & Blue, Mayday, Timewarp, Awakenings, Free Your Mind, SonneMondSterne and his favourite clubnight 'Planet Rose' at his hometown Nijmegen.

Central Slang ~ A Way of Life

Joe Morneau (vocals), Kelly Danchuk (vocals), Kurtis Danchuk (guitar), Eric Oman (drums) and Jim McDonald (bass) of Windsor Ontario are the founding members of Central Slang.

Central Slang got its start back in the year 2000 and took full advantage of their border city roots with their hip hop metal head banging shows in Canada as well as in neighbouring Detroit. The name derives from the groups effort to identify the cultural merging of Canadian and American slang. They are affiliated with Rose City Rags, a clothing and merchandising company created by Morneau to promote Central Slang and other artists in the Windsor/Detroit area. 	

Central Slang now boasts over a decade of live musical experience and gains influences from an eclectic mix of genres including rock, metal, hip hop, hardcore, blues, funk, and jazz. Each member has their own individual style which contributes to Central Slang’s unique sound. Independently they've recorded over 20 songs and have collaborated with Mad Child of Swollen Members, Big Left of La CoKa Nostra, dubstep recording artist Dstruct.O and other local talent. 

Central Slang's first official video "Primal Citizen" (produced, directed and engineered by Glenn Fricker of Spectre Sound) was released in Sept 2011 and was well received. They also welcomed airplay on 89X, a local Windsor/Detroit alternative radio station and U of W 's own CJam with the “Primal Citizen” tune and the pounding “Can't Stop Me” from their latest collection of recordings.

Berghain is a Berlin nightclub, named after its location on the border between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. Philip Sherburne has described it as "quite possibly the current world capital of techno, much as E-Werk or Tresor were in their respective heydays."

The club is located in a former power plant in Friedrichshain, behind the Berlin Ostbahnhof railway station. The building is distinguished by its enormous dimensions, which accommodate an 18 meter high dancefloor and space for 1500 guests, and also its minimalist interior design, dominated by steel and concrete. The club contains a "cavernous" main room, as well as a smaller upstairs space called the Panorama Bar, which is decorated by enormous Wolfgang Tillmans photographs and tall windows with a view of East Berlin. Only half of the building is currently in use.

Berghain has a strong reputation for decadence and hedonism; a New Zealand Herald article describes "people openly indulging in sexual acts" inside the club, and the basement contains a dark room specifically set aside for that purpose. Photography is strictly forbidden. The door policy is selective and mostly random, but there are no VIP entrance or VIP areas. Special guestlist is restricted to a few guests for each dj and maximally two guests for each staff member. As a special feature, no mirrors or reflecting surfaces can be found anywhere in the club. Like many Berlin clubs, Berghain hosts extremely long events; a Philip Sherburne column in Pitchfork Media describes a Carl Craig set that began at 3:00 Sunday afternoon and continued until the club's ending time.  Jesse Rose has described "Entering Panorama Bar is like going back in time to an age when people went out to really party." 

Berghain is the reincarnation of the "legendary" club Ostgut (1998–2003). This club itself emerged out of a men only fetish club night, called "Snax", which was held in different locations before it found its permanent home at the new club "Ostgut" as a part of a new concept. Quickly the "Ostgut" developed into a focal point of the Berlin techno-subculture since the venue was now open for all genders on regular nights except on those "Snax" club nights six to eight times a year. "Ostgut" closed down on January 6, 2003 following a 30-hour farewell event, and the former railway warehouse which housed it was subsequently demolished. Berghain opened in 2004. The name "Berghain" is a composite of the names of the two quarters, which flank the building south and north: Kreuzberg (former West Berlin) and Friedrichshain (former East Berlin). "Snax" is still held once a year on Holy Saturday in the main room (Berghain), while only the Panorama Bar is open for a mixed crowd.

I Manhunt vengono fondati dai due chitarristi Matteo e Massimo, già amici da molti anni, a Torino nel 2005. Per molto tempo i due rimasero alla ricerca di altri elementi per completare la line-up. A fine 2006 viene finalmente raggiunta una prima formazione stabile: vengono reclutati Gabriele alla batteria e, pochi mesi dopo, Alessandro al basso e alla voce. Un anno dopo (ottobre 2007) i Manhunt cambiano batterista: Lorenzo ''Lube'' entra ufficialmente nella band, seguito dal cantante Davide. Nell'aprile 2008 viene registrato il primo Ep ''Fake'' che viene accolto positivamente, di fatto permettendo al gruppo di intraprendere un'intensa attività live nel nord Italia. Nel 2009 partecipano al festival per gruppi emergenti PagellaNonSoloRock, posizionandosi terzi su oltre 70 band selezionate. Nel 2010 viene registrato negli One Voice Studio di Danny Giordana (già al lavoro nei tour di Hatebreed, Monster Magnet e Sick of It All, fra gli altri) il secondo Ep ''Experimental Human Cruelty''.
Negli anni successivi continuano i concerti privilegiando date fuori Torino, tra cui Genova, Milano, Brescia, con anche una data in Francia, a Nizza. Nell’estate 2012 il chitarrista co-fondatore Matteo decide di lasciare la band a causa di divergenze musicali. Così i Manhunt decidono di rivolgersi ad Alessandro Gagliardi (ex-Ravager, ex-Syllogist) che farà parte del gruppo dall’autunno stesso. Nel giugno 2013, con la nuova formazione e nuovi pezzi, i Manhunt si preparano per registrare il primo album, che viene pubblicato nel marzo 2014.

Manhunt is a thrash metal band from Turin, Italy, founded in 2005 by two guitarists Matteo Candeliere and Massimo Ventura. For a long time, they looked for a drummer and a bassist to complete the line-up. It was the end of 2006 when Gabriele (drums) and Alessandro (bass and vocals) joined the band. An year later Manhunt changed their drummer - Gabriele was replaced by Lorenzo (aka. Lube); Manhunt decided to enlist also a singer: Davide. In April 2008 Manhunt released their first Ep, ''Fake'', which contains five songs. After a lot of gigs and positive comments, in 2010 Manhunt recorded their second Ep "Experimental Human Cruelty'' at Danny Giordana's (the Man who toured with Hatebreed, Monster Magnet and Sick of It All amongst the others) OneVoiceStudio.
In the following years concerts continue, privileging gigs out from Turin, like Genova, Milano, Brescia, with one gig in Nice (France) too. In summer 2012 guitarist co-founder Matteo decides to leave the band because of musical disagreements. So Manhunt calls Alessandro Gagliardi (ex-Ravager, ex-Syllogist) that will join the band in autumn 2012.
At the end of 2013 begins the recording of the first album, “Manhunt” at Crime Records, and will be released on 14th march 2014.

In 2003 when Omega Redd introduced Kwin MD to Sal Graci and Va'Les the S.O.A.z movement had been started. "Self Owned Artists" or S.O.A.z for short was thought up by Va'Les. On night, after moving units on the Streets and freestyling they were in the Basement (Va'Les, Omega Redd, and Kwin MD) when they thought of some new concepts. One thing these 3 realized was that, even though they had many other artiists involved with the S.O.A.z movement, they where the main 3 on most of the songs on each CD...

They were the founding members of the S.O.A.z and they decided that they needed a name for their "3 headed monster" when the 3 of them did a song. The first song they did was in September of 2003. The week that Tampa Bay beat the Eagles in the first game of their new stadium Omega Redd, Va'Les & Kwin were supposed to go to Jacksonville, Florida to see Champain (who just got out of jail and had been in there for almost 2 years) to record with him and enjoy Florida. Redd and Kwin were on their way to G-Town to pick up Va'Les and Kwin's car broke down in South Philly. One week later, they recorded a song based on this called "Still Laughin"....This was the first time that these 3 MCs where on a song together (with out another rapper). They did songs like the "Rose Bush" when other MCs where also on the song, or they would do a song with Va'Les and Kwin, Omega Redd and Va'Les were partners before they met Kwin, or Omega Redd and Kwin...."Still Laughin" was the first Common Ground song.

In the Basement at Kwin's cribback in 2003 they decided to call themselves "Common Ground" when teamed up as 3 on a song. They had thought up some concepts, "Virtual" was one of the first song concepts for the Common Ground album they planned on making. Each MC would do a verse on their perspective and outlook on life. They continued on marking the S.O.A.z and really didn't go "all in" for Common Ground. When they were the most involved in the music thing together, Common Ground was always an afterthought. They were setting it up for something they would go "all in" on later on maybe down the road....

Omega Redd has always been in the Chester, Pa area. Va'Les lived in Germantown from 2003 to 2005. Va'Les and his family moved to South West Philly in 2005. Kwin MD lived in Glenolden, Pa (which is in between S.W.P. and Chester) West Philly (2004) then moved to Clifton Heights, Pa (near Glenolden), then moved to Yeadon Boro (which is in between Upper Darby and Darby but on the border of West Philly and S.W.P.)....Why is this Geography part of the Common Ground BIO? It's Ironic. When Va'Les stayed in G-Town from 2003-05 he lived the farthest away from Chester, yet all 3 would meet up in G-Town most of the time. They had more meetings about the music in G-Town than anywhere else. In 2005 when Va'Les lived closer to REDD and Kwin, they met up less. Redd went out to California for a while in 2005 and Kwin had gotten married in 11-05....But again, Ironically, when Va'Les lived closer to these 2, they all met up less. G-Town was a good 45 minute ride from Chester, and a good 30 to 35 minute ride from Glenolden. West Philly (where Kwin lived in 2004) was about 20 minutes (or less) from G-Town. S.W.P. was only a 10 minute ride from Clifton Heights, and about a 20 minute ride from Chester. So in 2005, Va'Les lived significantly closer to these 2. They would all meet up at Va'Les crib, mainly because he was usually home.

These 3 brought an Organ up 3 flights of steps when Va'Les lived on Walnut Lane in G-Town. One of Kwin's neghbors donated this organ to the S.O.A.z movement. The biggest significance in this story is it was snowing real bad that day, and they took this organ across town in the snow up 3 flights of stair. The "S.O.A.z Flavor of the Month" song "Cut Throat Players" was done by Va'Les playing that same organ on it. He used it on a few other songs too. How many unsigned, underground rappers got an Organ (not a Synthesized fake Organ) a real Organ player on there song?

They weren't having many meetings about music after 2005. Most of the time, you would see 2 together, but never 3. Many times Kwin and Va'Les would chill, but music wasn't the main thing they talked about. Redd and Va'Les would chill, drink some beers, play video games, or do whatever but music was not the reason for hanging out. Redd and Kwin would go hang out some where but they didn't talk too much about music since 2005. The whole thing changed when Kwin sold his Roland 880 EX in 2004. They still would every so often go to M.A.U. Studios in West Philly and record. Va'Les went there solo often, some times Redd would go there solo, some times them 2 would go there and record together.

In 2006 Va'Les and Kwin would meet about 2 or 3 times a month. Kwin used Va'Les as an advisor to help decide what songs would be Flavor of the Month. Va'Les and Kwin worked together a lot in 2004 selling the CDs on the Street. They also worked together making productions calling themselves B.I.P. or Black Irish Productions when they would make a track together.

Since 2003, these 3 would take many road trips together to Virginia. That same car that broke down on the way to Va'Les crib to go to Florida, used to be the car they'ld head to Virginia in to hang out, have a good time, and Sell CDs down there...They used to make the money for travel expenses off CD Sales while in Virginia. They used to Party Down there. Since 2003, the Common Ground 3 went down to Virninia many times. May 5th (Cinco De Mayo) was the last time that these 3 wet to VA together. It may be the last trip to Virginia Kwin and Redd ever would take with Va'Les (more on that when the Va'Les story/BIO comes out next week)...

Some time after that Cinco de Mayo trip (in July) The Common Ground 3 went down to M.A.U. studios to record some music. It was July of 2007, they recorded the song that will be "Jan. 2008 S.O.A.z Flavor of the Month" and it is called "S.O.A.z Reign Supreme" by Common Ground beat made by GNP from Northern Ireland. That might be the last song that Kwin MD and Omega Redd ever record with Va'Les (more on the reason why next week).... Since then, Omega Redd and Kwin met up once time in October of 2007 and one time in September 2007. They were just hanging out and chillin mostly, the music thing didn't really get brought up too much, they are both hoping Va'Les and his family will be okay. Next week we will give more details about this, it's tough to post blogs about, because the trueth is still unknown....

The Common Ground Era may be over, but not so fast. We are not able to tell what Va'Les status is currently.
