This week Celly (Cellan Enyon) takes on a journey through ambience, deep house and indie disco, expect strings, synths and style from the now Bristol based DJ/Producer.

This week on Topshelf we're excited to have with us budding Brazillian DJ, Lecastro.

Still in his beginnings as a DJ but impressing fast, Lecastro has found himself surrounded by talented individuals including past Topshelf guests Japanese Limo Boys and the other talented folks at Baba Discos studios which led him to dive head first into finding tracks and stepping behind the decks himself. 
Recording a brilliant set for us that demonstrates excellent song selection, impeccable mixing as well exploring a variety of cultures including a heavy influence from his own of Brazil, we're delighted to introduce the deep, rich sounds of Lecastro for Topshelf 0106. Enjoy.

This week on Topshelf we're delighted to have with us Liverpudlian, Deep house DJ/Producer, Petals in Sound.

With a serious knack for delivering gorgeous minimal deep house tracks that are fit for all occasions, Petals in Sound has been honing her craft since 2020 and the releases of her 'Palace' EP which boasts the forever budding title track alongside the creatively bouncy, lo-fi blended 'Buoyancy'. 

Following an excellent debut was the 'Dance' EP which featured the gloriously disco-centric title track as well as a wonderful taste of what was to come in the beautifully produced 'Tu Mente' which plays like a Sade song sings.
Future releases would see the discography of the artist grow more impressive with every release with the 'Morning Light' EP further showcasing her artistry. Every track on the EP has a rich, emotional pull and blends multiple genres together with innovative sampling, beautiful synths and imaginative structure.

What came after is a list of records that would stand up tall next to any, such as the mesmerising 'DRAW ME IN', the moody summer club anthem 'Slow', last years 'Dial Tone' EP which produced another wave of digestible deep house revelations as well as this years features, the extremely classy house EP 'Caipirinha' which also garnered remix of the highest degree from Tree Threes and her most recent release effort, the jazz spruced 'Holding Sand' which firmly confirms Petals in Sound as an undeniable force to be reckoned with.

With a well defined place in the deep house genre and forever contuining to impress, we can't wait to see what's on the horizon for this talented artist but for now, with superb 30 minute masterclass for us, we're thrilled to bring you Topshelf 0120 w/ Petals in Sound. Enjoy

The Library LMD Presents Topshelf 0120 w/ Petals in Sound

This week on Topshelf we’re excited to have with us, Spanish deep house DJ / Producer, Adrià Falcó.

With his music defined as somehwhere in-between deep, ethnic, melodic and progressive house, Falcó has been releasing illuminating tracks for the last 5 five years with his Soundcloud debut ‘Froggy On The Storm’ a classy, raw house track showcasing elements of the deep house sound that he would go on to make his own. 

After some experimentation within the house genre which would produce corkers like ‘Y’all Boogie Limiter’, ‘Diving Into Eternity’ and ‘Stuck In A Dream’, the next few years would see Adrià’s talent for developing the rich, emotive and quite frankly moving tracks he’s become known for, producing hypnotising use of keys as well as using the strength and formations of his drums to channel multiple genres, from deep house to techno as demonstrated in the 9 and a half minute epic ‘Lost In The North’, ‘Black Love’, ‘Walking Down The Street’, ‘Love Inside’ and of course ‘Summer Memories’. So hearty.

This year he’s been on an absolute tear, carrying on the deep house traditions with the release of ‘MonteCarlo’, ‘Coeur Noir’ and ‘L’innocent’ as well as giving us a classic minimal house banger in ‘Tonkatsu’ and a classy remix of Vicen Salvador’s ‘I See You’. 

We see only special things on the horizon for this talented producer, So without further ado we are delighted to bring you one of our favourite artists in deep house for Topshelf 0129 in Adrià Falcó. enjoy

This week on Topshelf we’re buzzing to have with us a Brazilian B2B between two Japanese Limo Boys in DJ/Producer and Duas Quasars label co-head Fabio Kstro, alongside DJ/Producer Laghi.

With a sound that blends an eclectic mix of downtempo, disco and experimental dance, these budding DJ/Producers are pushing traditional genre boundaries. With Fábio’s seamlessly fusing original tracks, exclusive edits, and live instrumentation, crafting dynamic performances that captivate audiences, with his work being fueled by a relentless pursuit of innovation and a deep desire to forge authentic connections with listeners, both through his productions and on stage.

With the Japanese Limo Boy's most recent EP ‘Zuza’ hitting the shelves towards the back end of last year and perfectly representing the space between deep house, tribal and downtempo that the artists so cleverly habitate, we’re delighted to have back 2/3’s of our favourite Brazilian outfit. This week on Topshelf, we’re delighted to have with us Manchester based DJ/Producer, and Mas O Menos label head, Levi Love.

With over 20 years of experience, Levi's style fuses his South African roots with his Manchester dwelling, creating a unique blend of deep house textures and funk-infused African beats.

Known for his energetic and engaging performances, Levi has rocked crowds at Warehouse Project, Sounds from the Other City, Beyond the Music, and more. His confident mixes and infectious personality always leave audiences wanting more of both his music and his energy.

Levi Love’s remix of Nightbus’ ‘Average Boy’ has been a mainstay for us at the Library since its release, beautifully pairing 2 of Manchesters biggest underground voices together for what is a delight of a record.

His latest EP, ‘Cosmic Mackem / Gaslighting’ with Joey T came out last year and features a small roster of house anthems including both title tracks and their respective remixes, qs well as ‘Pulse 77’, which is a glorious little outro.

With a mix for us that beautifully demonstrates exactly what Love is all about, incorporating soulful deep house with an under current of South African grooves, we are delighted to bring you one of Manchester’s finest for Topshelf 0138 w/ Levi Love. Enjoy

The Library LMD Presents Topshelf 0138 w/ Levi Love

This week on Topshelf we’re delighted to have with us Brazilian DJ/Producer Zanelato.

A master of the edit, Zanelato has been producing under his moniker since his 2020 version of Ray Phiri’s ‘Play that sax’. 

This early work would be the first demonstration of Zanelato’s style of groove, calling back to the soulful production of the late 80’s / early 90’s as further showcased on his next release. A remix of JND’s ‘Dub in Paris’.

One of Zanelato’s biggest merits is celebrating Latin American music and his next string of edits would do just that, with glorious edit’s of Paula Santoro’s ‘Só Você E Eu’ and Afrodite Se Quiser’s ‘Vida Ferida’, introducing us in the West to a range of artists undiscovered. 

Zanelato’s latest run see’s him put a 90’s spin on The Beloved’s classic ‘The Sun Rising’, MC Eddy’s ‘Quero’, Margareth Menezes’ ‘Elegibô’ and Angélica’s ‘ O Meu Jeito De Ser’.

This week on Topshelf we're delighted to have with us Hungarian Tech House DJ & Producer, Vitus.

With a vibrant career that only began in 2024 and to those who know his work, Vitus is an extremely impressive tech house producer, releasing a multitude of singles, as well as an EP all in his debut year.

His 'Luxx' EP is one of the most enjoyable tech house records we came across in 2024, with 'Bring it on' being a summer corker, fitting for any motive once the sun reveals itself. The title track shows off Vitus' quality in his production, with glorious strings and a minimal tech house under belly that gives us one of our favourite tracks within the genre, an understated classic. 'Closed Doors' closes out the EP with it's synth flare and percussive prowess to make this a highly impressive debut.

His latest track 'Bob Jamz' fittingly does exactly what it says on the tin, in fact it's impossible 
not to have a bob to. Utilising funky piano notes and basslines, on top of breaks samples to give us another track that never rushes any of its components and carries on the trend of top quality tracks, in a genre that needs some new life blown through it. Vitus is that guy.

This week on Topshelf we’re delighted to have with us, all the way from Germany, Harry Nipples.

With a superb start to 2025 playing at Katernacht alongside the likes of Bryan Kessler, M-High and Bambi S, Harry Nipples is a euphoric treat to the ear drums.

With her sets aesthetically celebrating the 80’s, serving out glorious synths, pulsating basslines and piano grooves, Harry Nipples is truly a fantastic representation for Italo.

‘Dance Now’, Harry Nipples original track with fellow Berliner jo.desaga is an italo DJ’s dream, giving us 90’s inspired trance vocals alongside dreamy signature piano keys and a superb bassline that is impossible not to throw down to. Anthem.

With a crackin’ mix for us incorporating Italo and Soul and perfectly showcasing the artists exceptional mixing and track selection, serving it all up on a wave of 80’s emotion. We couldn't be happier to bring the groovin' delights of Harry Nipples. Enjoy

Topshelf is back after a short hiatus throughout the essay period, but we are back and proud to bring you a fresh new mix from DJ / Producer, Queen of Coins.

With a self titled debut album releasing at the end of 2024, Queen of Coins has started there production career off with a bang, with the record featuring an array of corkers, including the ever evolving ’Summer Card’, which analogically delivers a wonderful start to the record.

Other highlights include ’Bring It To The Top’ , ‘Damaged Souls’, ‘Oreo Cake’ and ‘Head Tension’ which all carry the signature pulsating baselines, giving us a juicy italo core accompanied with beautiful synths, all harking back to 80’s nostalgia.

This week on Topshelf we’re delighted to have with us Bristol based, Deep Tech DJ/Producer, Alexisitry.

With a multitude of accomplished formats under her belt, Alexisitry has a SWU.FM show, whilst also being member of Bristols techno events team and record label, Flat 7, on top of heading up her own night, Alexisitry’s Cocktail Club. The next progression naturally for the impressive DJ was to start releasing music and 2024 saw the beginning of what looks to be an illustrious production career. Teaming up with fellow Flat 7 member Edetto for both the techno stomper ‘Where The Party At?’ and ‘Where the 1 At?’, which is a golden track for afters.

As we mentioned in our premiere yesterday, @Austin-Ato is Scotland’s next underground sensation. A producer with a few aliases, producing music under many different styles and genres, it’s no wonder he's able to combine so many varying influences with ease. Perhaps best known for his Drums of Death alias, he’s quickly put himself on the radar as Austin Ato, filling the bags of many a DJ with his records, most of which have been released within the past year.

Listing disco as his primary sound, it’s a genre that is clearly heard within his productions but alone is definitely not the only defining label, as he clearly draws from many other sources as well. When djing however, perhaps we hear a bit more of that disco flavour creeping in, as heard in the mix he’s put together for us today.Read the full interview and get to know Austin Ato a bit while taking in his impeccable selection in the interview.
