Dj TLR, dj and boss from the label Crème Organization (@cremeorganization) and Godspill Mehdi (@Godspill, graphist for many artists of this West Coast scene from Holland and boss of Godspill were the Guests of the first 716 dinner (www.716lavie.com) that took place in Paris at the Sicilian Trattoria La Trottinette. The participants were music lovers, actors from the music scene.
This video has been directed and edited by Dave Berton who I thank warmly!
The beer Demory Paris was a partner of this event.
This mis was exclusively made for this dinner and for the radio show Ice FM on Radio Campus.

Residencies at Horizon in Canvas and MIND in Radion in Amsterdam, put Reza on the map, alongside a series of podcasts with the likes of Throne Of Blood, Deep House Amsterdam, The Ransom Note, THUMP/Vice and Sekoia. 

He is also a regular at Berlin’s amazing Salon Zur Wilden Renate and with gigs at Dalston Superstore in Manchester’s Antwerp Mansion and future shows at Watergate and Cocktail d’Amore in Berlin, he is deinitely one to watch.

Their tracks are full of elements that leave space to drift in between, where the dancer becomes the guitar solo or the absent melody that is held by those rhythms and atmospheres.

Serial Experiments - L#79 | Guest Mix: Carisma

Sneaker DJ has been on a mission to reveal the origins of electronic music for more than twenty years now. Whether as a producer or DJ – the former student of fine arts is doing it properly but always after careful consideration. Early on, he fell in love with Detroit and Chicago but furthermore there are the obscure italo-, new wave- and minimal-synth-gems that make his sets and ‘Dunkeltier’ edits special and provide his productions with that certain Sneaker-flavour. He remixed pioneers such as Twilight Ritual, Esplendor Geométrico (on Frigio Rec.) and Absolute Body Control (on Macadam Mambo Edits). Specialiced on edits of dance (un-)classics he’s one of the heads behind the label Rat Life with an upcoming EP of drum machine tools and Arabic folklore. The year 2015 has seen an enormous output with EPs on ULM, Lunatic, Bahnsteig 23, Bordello A Parigi and Rat Life plus numerous contributions on vinyl. 
His percussive drill mix was recorded at  Bootleg in Tel Aviv during an intense night run by the Barzilay promoters. The mix features a lot of classic and new material by Traxx, LB Bad, K. Alexi and Sneakers own endeavors from the Meet The Heat EP (ULM002) and the Algerian Raï EP (Rat Life 6).

-このミックスはどこで収録されたのですか？

1. 自宅のリビングで、Technics 1210Sとお気に入りのRodec MX180ミキサーを使って録音したんだ。ティーを飲みながらね。


-このmixを制作するにあたり、もしコンセプトがあればぜひ教えてください。

2. このmixを取る時の最初のアイデアはハウスとダブ・テクノをmixする事、殆どの人が僕のスタイルから想像するようなね。だけど正直に言うと僕のレコードコレクションはもっと多岐に渡るものなんだ。特に最近はテクノに傾倒していて、その辺りを着地点としてこのmixを作ったよ。


-最近の活動を教えて下さい。

3. 最近ヴァイナルとテープのレーベルInternational Sun-Earth Explorerをラウンチしたばかりで、ファースト・リリースは僕たちのローカルのハウス・エキスパートS.A.M. のTERMINAL EP、近日リリースされるPellarinのMONTPELLIER EPの他友人であるRouteなど、僕自身のレコード・コレクションのようにジャンルをまたいだたくさんのエキサイティングなリリースを予定しているよ。思うに良い音楽はジャンルを超える。だからレーベルの音楽形態を制限してしまわないように気を配っているんだ。

Lurid Music is a record label based in Athens, Greece and run by Alex Hobson and Dimitri Kyvellos, who owns Kasseta Record Shop downtown. They have released three twelve-inches so far, with two new ones coming out in the next couple of months from The Rattler Proxy and Antoni Maiovvi. You can hear some of these new tracks in this mix, which was recorded by Alex Hobson.This was recorded last month on a train ride from NY to DC using the split-headphone feature in Traktor, just messing around to kill some time on that three hour trip.
