I present to you all my next project: [Dusttale] [Undertale AU] Sans Theme: Megalovania  [A FrostFM Remix]

I've fallen down the abyss of the Dusttale fandom and I love this edgy stuff. Therefore, I had to make a remix of San's Theme since I love The Murder and some of the other remixes of this song I've heard. So, I wanted to throw my hat in the ring and see if ol' Frosty boy could produce a good remix for ol' Dusttale Sans. 

I'm pretty pleased with the results. And here I thought I was done with Megalovania remixes, lmao.

Okok so. I was looking through my old music sh*t (like a month ago so not that old), and remembered Megalov[e]ania. I remember I tried to do something with it, with the phasers and muffling eq and stuff. I scrapped that in this version.

Anyway, I remember staying up way past midnight (school night), f*cking with my keyboard trying to figure out, "how am I gonna turn megalo strike back into a megalovania?" Well I did it, and for what it was, Megalov[e]ania did a decent job of being it. But I don't... like it. It's good at being what it is, but it's not... good. not to say this version is any good, but you get me.

So, the other night I got distracted and thought up a better name for the track. "The Third Strike." See, because megalo STRIKE back and baseball terminology? I hate baseball. So anyway, as I was saying I got the urge to redo it. But I hate its very concept. So I went back to the drawing board. What if I made my own thing? Yeah I could do that. So I did. And now you have "The Third Strike." 

(I should note that right after I decided the name I found another ss megalo called the infinite strike or something like that, but I think they're different enough, plus that one's name is based on another track that's based on another track that i wasn't able to find. it's more original than "Megalov[e]ania" anyway.)

for the intro, i just wanted a piano section somewhere and couldn't think of where else to put it.

for the lead, i just came up with something on the fly that i think worked.

i came up with the square section in the shower - well, when i was about to get in the shower, and the next bit is just kind of a continuation of that. really every part of every song is a continuation of the previous part. point is, i came up with the brass-y section the same way i came up with the lead motif.

The "slow" bit was the same, and the guitar is just whatever with a slight semblance of the original's structure.

wow this description is way too long. glad i typed it out on my phone beforehand.

if this gets attention i'll release the flp because it seems that's what people seem to do with original megalos.

Storyshift - The Third Strike (Megalov[e]ania V2)

a little different from what i normally do, but oh well.

the only other au waters of megalovania i can think of is fires of dynami, so i may be overstepping but hey, i can do whatever i want. i think it goes together pretty well, after some pitch alteration anyway.

go check out The Third Strike. it's probably the best thing i've made. which isn't saying a lot but obviously i thought it was good enough to make a waters out of it.
