We all have our demons...

Written on a flight to New York this summer. Sometimes I don’t know why I release music. I put a lot into it, and in reality, very few people will ever listen to these songs and, they quickly disappear into the digital ether.  

Now, very much in the 3rd act of life, there are realities to face and, it's getting so late.

La era de Itaca (fue) con el timón óseo.
…en el umbral de óleo la isla de nuz es axioma que edita el ñeque de paja en yeguas y ovejas…Ay ay duro insecto que zumba igual acechando el boquete ovalado que se aboca ilógico.
Un reto que (los) elude del juez feminista, fumando con (el) aceite de un yiq zopenco, su vida es u(na) regla de negro acero.
…un hix oye añadir para el boicot el elogio entre rulos inunda, ígneo vacío asfixiante.
Depende del umbrío (gas) al borde del zigzag, debe ser el hexa(go)no en el éter rojo, ética de (la) Europa con odio usado, el lobo en (el) zigurat del isósceles yat.

EL PÁJARO MINAH  /  THE MINAH BIRD

Me desperté  /  I woke up
de un sueño equivocado,  /  from a wrong dream,
tumbado entre palmeras,  /  lying among palm trees,
no estoy perdido ni encontrado.  /  I’m neither lost nor found.

Me siento bien,  /  I feel alright,
el sol me ha iluminado,  /  the sun has illuminated me,
la vida se estremece  /  life is shaking
y el egoísmo se ha agotado.  /  and selfishness is exhausted.

Pero cómo no lo pude ver?  /  But how couldn’t I see it?
No tenemos que ir ni que volver.  /  We don’t either have to go or come back.
Hay que sentirlo para creer  /  One must feel it to believe
que vivimos muy cerca del Edén.  /  that we live very near of Eden.

Es esto real?  /  Is this real?
Atrás quedan las ruinas de la ciudad.  /  Behind are left the ruins of the city.
No pierdas tu tiempo,  /  Don’t waste your time,
no sufras más.  /  don’t suffer anymore.

Cuando el ave abra sus alas  /  When the bird opens its wings
y el día se convierta en oscuridad,  /  and the day becomes darkness,
escucha su cantar,  /  listen to its singing,
deja de pensar y vive.  /  stop thinking and live.

Pero cómo no lo pude ver?  /  But how couldn’t I see it?

como canta el Pájaro Minah  /  as the Minah Bird sings.

Una procesión de focos avanza,  /  A procession of lights goes onward,
rugir de tanques, ruido de armas.  /  tanks roar, noise of guns.
Un grito llama a la venganza  /  A shout claims for revenge
cuando un soldado dispara al Pájaro Minah.  /  when a soldier shoots the Minah Bird.

Tanques y tropas arrasan la ciudad.  /  Tanks and troops raze the city.
La estupidez humana es el arma más letal.  /  Human stupidity is the most lethal weapon.
Cien años de historia  /  A hundred years of history
en una noche ven su final.  /  in one night watch their end.

Cuando el ave cae al suelo  /  When the bird falls to the ground
y su sangre se convierte en hielo,  /  and its blood turns to ice,
y se apaga su cantar…  /  and its singing fades…
Jamás aprenderás si no quieres escuchar.  /  You’ll never learn if you don’t want to listen.

Pero cómo no lo pueden ver?  /  But how can’t they see it?
Hemos sido bendecidos al nacer.  /  We have been blessed at birth.
Hay que sentirlo para creer  /  One must feel it to believe
que la vida es sueño.  /  that life is dream.

Y no quiero despertar   /  And I don’t want to wake up
de este sueño equivocado.  /  from this wrong dream.

Ce morceau de musique a été composé comme une variation stylistique sur un même thème musical afin d'illustrer cette petite histoire:

(0:58) Les Bédouins voyagent depuis des jours;

(1:50) C'est une attaque de brigands;
