The past 4 years have nothing short of the good, the bad, the ugly, and of course, the beautiful. Steyoyoke thanks you, our old and new fans, for the substructure of love and support upon which this label is built. We bring you ultramodern remixes of our liveliest tracks from 2015 on the latest EP, Steyoyoke Anniversary Vol. 04, to celebrate the new year, including remixes by: Philipp Kempnich, Cid Inc, Oliver Schories, MIDAS 104, and Jonas Saalbach.

Philip Kempnich remixes Aaryon and Ran Salman's 'Riptide', fundamentally shifting the patterns of sound consistently to leave you with an ever-pleased, tingly aural sensation. Cid Inc brings us his take on Nick Devon's 'The Poem' featuring Miroir, taking advantage of the earthy bass line through a complimentary arrangement. Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

Thank you to all our long-time fans that have loved us from the start, and to our new fans who we welcome with open arms into our family. Eine warme Wunderwelt, so bezeichnet @get-physical-music und @poesiemusik das neue Release von @fynnofficial – „Infinite Reflections“. Der Berliner Produzent greift für das Original auf einen dicken Groove zurück und setz zeitgleich auf schwerfällige Kicks und ein warmes Ambiente. Die Synths steigen und steigen, um die Geschichte dieser Deep-House-Nummer zu erzählen. Neben dem Original umfasst das Release drei Remixe, die von @peer-kusiv, @philippwolf-music und @jonas-woehl produziert wurden. „Ich fing einfach an, mit den Samples des Originales zu spielen und schnell entstand ein eigener Groove, in dem dann das eine zum anderen führte“, erzählt der letztgenannte Woehl. About the Release : 

Sincopat welcomes Niko Schwind to the family with Acid EP. German artist presents a couple of extraordinary original tracks with two model remixers: Martin Landsky and Darlyn Vlys.

Acid is an amazing slice of electronic music. It is raw but at the same time its full of details and thick sounds. Maestro Martin Landsky makes also his first appearance on the label providing a groovy 4x4 re-arrangement open to the dance floor. From Sincopat University comes super talented Darlyn Vlys, taking the original track to his futuristic indie techno world, filling the gaps with melodies and elaborated acid synths lines. Niko goes deeper with his second original track Starchild, adding magic and delicate voices to finish this vibrant EP.

As we check off another year for Steyoyoke Recordings, we would like to thank you for joining us on this wonderful journey and appreciate your continued support. To mark our 6th Anniversary, we invited some of the best producers to create remixes of our favourite Steyoyoke tracks of 2017. The release will feature remixes from Hernan Cattaneo, Audio Junkies, Martin Roth, Simon Doty, Nairo and Township Rebellion. The anniversary vinyl will be showcased and sold at our 6th Anniversary Party at Ritter Butzke in Berlin.

Opening the release is Hernan Cattaneo and Audio Junkies’ take on BLANCAh’s “Talus”. The result is pure energy with playful rhythm, soothed by melodic synths. Reinventing Soul Button’s “Paramour” is Martin Roth, who certainly adds a bit of forthright edge and deeper undertones to the original mix. Next up is Simon Doty and Nairo’s version of Nick Devon’s “Overflow”, which unleashes vivid elements scattered across heavy bass lines. The fourth and last track in this release is Clawz SG and Nick Devon’s “Syndicate” remixed by Township Rebellion. Saturated with explosive attitude, this remix surely won’t let one stand still!

Life After Music is Messive Muzik’s debut release on Ambious Records and a glimpse into who these guys are behind the noise. The EP’s opener, ‘Exotics’, takes us back to the future with a deep and timeless house track, as funky, rolling bass stabs bounce beneath hypnotic vocal cuts and a trumpet-y synth. Second up, ‘Light’ is a clear indication of the group’s listening-roots in Deep House before the genre’s destined popularity and increase in educated listeners. They left us with a track that wastes no time getting deep and spacey - lead by a growling bassline progression that finds itself submerged in full use of frequency, texture and tone, ‘You Know’ is a treat to the sonic senses.
