Joi N’ Juno is the new project from singer, composer, multi instrumentalist, producer and audio engineer David Baluteau aka “Damny”. 
David started his musical career 25 years ago as the founding member of “La Phaze”, quickly establishing a strong reputation and cult following with his energising live performances. La Phaze toured extensively for 14 years, playing more than 700 shows in 35 countries and recording 5 albums, while also collaborating with artists such as Gogol bordello, manu Chao and Keny Arkana. 22 years later  La Phaze maintains their loyal fan base and recently finished a nationwide tour of France.

David has joined Manu Chao and Radio Bemba as keyboard player and back up singer for their European and usa tour and also Calypso Rose for the tour of her last album “far from home”, which obtained a French music award.
These years of experience shaped David into a highly skilled studio producer.  drawing on these strengths he built his professional studio “96db studio”, where he mixes and produces for artists such as Keny Arkana, Sol Pereyra, Yawdel, Orange Blossom, Elephanz and others.. His skill set sees him adapting to create musical works for synchronisation parts for TV shows and advertising, for prestigious companies like Bmg UK, Score Addiction and BAM Music. He was honoured with a Production Music Award in 2012.

In 2022, David Baluteau embarked on a new creative journey, creating his latest project “Joi N’J	uno”. The sound of Joi N’ Juno blends warm vintage keyboards, funky guitars and grooving basslines with triumphant horns and heady vocals. Joi N Juno fuses influences from African and tropical funk and disco traditions, splicing these spicy outernational flavours with the slick production of modern disco & the punch of house beats to create an intoxicating and invigorating recipe that challenges anyone to sit still! 

Joi N’ Juno has seen solid support from artists such as Folamour, David Penn, Nickodemus & Tiger Balm and has been remixed by scene luminaries such as Art of Tones & Hotmood.

In 2023 David started to record his first solo album under the new moniker, titled “Samemala”, which is signed to Canopy Records, scheduled for release in early October on vinyl and digital format, followed by a tour of live shows.

Joi N’Juno is a project of soulful liberation. It is the sound of joy and the sound of triumph in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

Viviana Casanova's style is a mix between Techno & House. Halfway between her native Chile and her current residence in Spain.

Viviana is the owner of the “VASSNOVA” label. She has released several singles such as: "One, Two, Three, Four", "Trouble", "Sorry Not Sorry" or "Piscis", achieving prominent positions on the Beatport charts. In 2021 the doors of the label were opened to other artists and today it has a monthly release from producers from all over the world mixing sounds between TECHNO & HOUSE.

The most outstanding releases to date: "Uncontrolled" on Trick  / Patrick Topping label, “This Party” on Sola Music, “Out of Space” on Vassnova and in 2023 the standout Dosem remix of this track reaching the top 10 on the Beatport charts.

Empecé a pinchar en Barcelona de modo amateur en 1995 pero fue gracias a mi unión con los djs Fran Navaez (PFROPF, gran productor de techno en la actualidad) y Shitake (Actualmente en la conocida marca Happy Techno) lo que originó la creación del colectivo ‘Recreo Sound System’ y es cuando empecé a pinchar en algunas de las salas importantes de la ciudad condal. La Cova, elRow, Le Bako o City Hall son algunos de los locales que frecuentamos en sus inicios.

A partir de aquí, me volvi un poco nómada y busqué abrirme paso en varios sitios como Fuerteventura, Pirineos, Menorca, etc… Afincándome definitivamente en esta ultima isla donde vivo desde hace mas de 15 años. 

Desde 2012 hasta 2016 he sido residente de Space Menorca, franquicia de la famosa Space Ibiza.

He compartido cartel con Jamie Jones, Adam Beyer, Gaiser, Stefano Noferini, Andres Campo, Dj Nano, Robbie Rivera, Technasia, Wally Lopez, De La Swing, Francisco Allendes, Francesco Farfa, Nakadia, Vitalic, Reinier Zonneveld, Viviana Casanova, Spartaque, Coyu, Lexlay, Mëstiza, Dexphase, Skryption, Pastis&Buenri, Paco Pil, Ricardo F, Headhornys... y un largo etcetera en diversas salas y festivales.

He salido en varias ocasiones al extranjero y Dubai, Inglaterra, Bali, Filipinas o Tailandia han disfrutado de mis sesiones, y yo de ellos.

Mis sesiones se caracterizan por tener energía y generar sinergia con el público, y mis estilos van del deep minimal al techno, pasando por el house o el tech-house. Nunca suelo casarme con un estilo en concreto y apuesto por la música bailable y nada lineal sabiendo adaptarme al publico de la sala donde actuo.

Actualmente tambien soy promotor bajo la marca Los Santos junto a Nic Riviera con 2 de las mejores sesiones de electronica que se pueden encontrar en Menorca: Bah! y Jaleo
