Giovanni Sarpietro ha origini umbro-sicule. Frequenta in giovane età il Conservatorio Morlacchi di Perugia per poi dedicarsi agli ambiti musicali più disparati. Collabora con la compagnia “Arebur” di Liv Ferracchiati per la composizione di musiche per il teatro e partecipa alla realizzazione di opere musicali appartenenti a diversi generi (Rock Brigade, Decostruttori Postmodernosti). Nel 2018, dopo aver vissuto una fase di forte esterofilia, inaugura il progetto elettro-pop “In Wave”, con il quale ha all’attivo un omonimo LP (In Wave, 2022), registrato e prodotto a Torino presso il Punto V di Luca Vicini. Nel 2020, durante il periodo di lockdown, inizia a collezionare i testi e i brani che formeranno poi il cuore della sua produzione cantautoriale in collaborazione con Salvatore Addeo, che ne curerà produzione, mix e mastering. Cominciano a delinearsi i margini di un prodotto artistico che ha visto la pubblicazione di “SE QUALCUNO CI SENTE POI” a Novembre 2022 e “CATERINA” a Marzo 2023. "CROMATICA" è l'ultimo singolo estratto che anticipa l'Album di debutto.
