The media often misreports scientific findings to promote climate alarm. Contrary to widespread media claims, birds, butterflies, and coral are doing well during the present period of climate change. They have adapted for millenniums to far more extreme climate shifts than what they are currently experiencing. For species that are declining, it is largely due to natural regional climatic shifts and localized human landscape changes. Often, these shifts result in other species thriving. Climate change is not acidifying the oceans or wiping out bird and butterfly species.
