Next up on the ReFrame we have the wonderful Baz and Nova, Leeds very own pair of Balearic Archaeologists, not averse to picking their way through Europe's dusty record recesses for the weird the wonderful and mostly elusive oddities! A perfect ReFrame accompaniment... ❤️

I first met Baz one Saturday night not long after COVID restrictions had eased and back playing records at Outlaws Yacht Club. By chance and unknowingly to me he wandered in whilst playing his latest record Exstatic Love on Magic Wand (serious tune). After intros from Shaun we had a good chat that evening and struck up a friendship around similar musical strands. 

Having not seen each other for a little while we caught up at the Bill Brewster talk at Melodie 73 a couple of weeks back and just last week dancing to the wonderful Idjut Boys on a Balmy Sunday evening at Rotation Garden Party 24, a fitting spearhead for finishing this selection and getting this out.

As always the show is made up of lots of personal edits snipped away for maximal dancefloor pressure. This month also sees the first inclusion of the ReFrame There is Nothing Left to do, an Italian 80s oddity beefed up and crafted for the dancefloor. "Staring out across the absolutely packed Lawn of Gottwood Festival 2024 as the sun shone through the trees on Crazy P dropping ‘Heartbreaker' I knew I had a mission to pull off. And that was to first attempt to keep the crowd and second take it from 120bpm disco and drop it off somewhere around 135 bpm electro ready for Freakenstein to come on in full swing. Not the easiest job in the world but one I felt confident to pull off knowing the Gottwood crowd, Crazy P and the Freaky one so well after being a part of all their lives for many years. It was also a rare opportunity for me to mix up everything from balearic beats, disco and deep house as ralph lawson before passing the headphones over to my alter ego EXIT PLANET EARTH to take over the controls for electro funk LIFT OFF!' - Ralph Lawson
