Reeves Gabrels is a world-class guitarist born in the USA and now based in Nashville, Tenn. Since 2012 he has been a member of The Cure, one of England's most distinctive post-punk rock bands. Reeves previously enjoyed long-time musical collaborations with David Bowie, most notably as a member of the band Tin Machine, guitarist for 'Outside', co-writer and co-producer for albums including 'Earthling' and 'hours...' and music director/guitarist on tour. Throughout his career, Reeves has been a daring, original improviser both on his own and in collaboration with other musicians--including his newest partnership with one of his musical heroes, Bill Nelson (Be-Bop Deluxe).
