Bandit is a seasoned DJ with who followed her dream for 25 years and has performed on almost every continent on the planet... except her closest neighbour. She’s captivated crowds from Thailand to Norway, at Burning Man in 2011, 2016 and 2022, and headlined iconic venues from Berlin to Zanzibar. Formerly performing under the moniker "Amber", after 20 years in festivals, Djing and  production she decided to take a new name to try new things freely. She's also the older sister to legendary producer Grouch, and proves musical talent runs deep in the family.
Bandit’s sets are as versatile as they are powerful. Now back in her homeland, Aotearoa, she’s ready to bring the ruckus to Oceania once more
Whether playing hip-hop, techno, or her eclectic underground selections, Bandit blends soulful, left footed, funky mixes that keep audiences bouncing.

I started mixing vinyl in the late 90's on my Technics 1210's, mainly so I could make my own mix tapes 😎 I also raved all through the 90's and still raving now tbh 😜🙌 I started with house, trance and minimal/techno, but now  play mostly trance, which I'm a little bit obsessed with tbf 😆 for years though never took it any further than private party's. 

 Fast forward to recent years. I bought a digital controller over lockdown and got back into it 😎 When lockdown ended I was given the opportunity by local DJ Dale Castell to play for his brand Our House Events in Leeds 🔥 I'll be forever grateful for this and always appreciate the experience! It was a dream come true really 🙏

 It gave me a huge confidence boost and caused me to up my game massively, so I've ended up a fairly decent DJ 😊 I just do it for the buzz really and the love of music ❤️  So follow along if you like what you hear drop a comment and a like 😎 Thanks for listening ☺️
