KCUR 89.3 is the NPR member station in Kansas City, Missouri. Our nine-month project WORD, January - September 2015, was an effort to provide greater exposure for the literary arts within our listening area and to place a spotlight on poetry, fiction and essays by area writers. 

Our arts team recorded writers reading their work in our studio and at live events in the community. We also requested submissions of original poetry, fiction and essays from first-time writers to widely published professionals.

Word of Life Fellowship Church, Inc. was established in 1998 to provide knowledge of God’s word for practical living.  Here at Word of Life we strive to teach the truth of God’s word in simple and basic form for easy understanding.  Our vision is to open the minds of people to the realness and truth of God’s word.  This is why our foundational scripture is Matthew 4:4 (KJV):
  “But he [Jesus] answered and said, it is written, man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
Lastly, we believe in building stronger family bonds within God’s kingdom.  Accordingly, many Word of Life ministries are led by husband and wife teams.

Word Life Church is a Bible-based, Spirit-filled, full gospel church. 

The mission of Word Life Church is to teach believers worldwide who they are in Christ Jesus and how to live a victorious life in their covenant rights and privileges. The fulfillment of that mission takes place when those believers become rooted and grounded enough in God's Word to reach out and teach others these same principles. (Acts17:28, 2 Corinthians 13:4, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 John 4:9 , Ephesians 3:17)

Nachtstuck Records is an experimental music label, ran by Tiago Morais Morgado, which had its inception back in 2014. After 3 years, and 40 releses, we donated practically our income to charity. After a few scandals in the portuguese media, reffering to scandals in resources management in caritable organizations, we decided to shift our policy to able to pay the artists, making physical releases, organizing concerts, etc. we now charge a minimum of 8 euros for each of our releases.

Um pesquisador afinco e extremamente exigente,
preza pelas construções de atmosferas e cria
momentos únicos em suas apresentações se
aproveitando seja do horário, clima, ambiente
sempre analisando o local e escolhendo a
construção que irá fazer.
Atualmente é um dos idealizadores da Progression
(Datas de Progressivo dentro do D-Edge Club em
São Paulo), também um dos sócios da Unik ID que
foi pioneira no Progressivo na cidade de São
Paulo), sócio na Secret Encounters que é uma
festa itinerante de Progressivo e Deep House além
de um dos residentes no Inprogress desde sua
fundação. Já tocou em grandes clubs e festivais
como D-Edge Festival, Zeigteist Curitiba, Lions
Club, Trackers, D-Edge entre outros.
Alguns momentos que marcaram sua trajetória:
- Quando o Dj Martin Garcia deu parte do seu
horário no Line para o Dj PK Live que não estava
no Line da festa.
- Ter recebido a pista na primeira edição da mão do
Cid Inc. e fazer um encerramento que fez com que
todos se emocionassem e muitos (as) até
chorassem.
- Também quando estava fazendo o warm up para
o Dj Nick Warren, ele chegou e disse que gostou
do warm up cedendo parte do horário do SET dele
e só depois disso assumir a pista para ele.
Considerado por muitos como um DJ na essência
da palavra e acredita que a musicalidade tem
sempre que estar acima de qualquer interesse.

Live@theChapel events showcase the music of Australasian contemporary artists & bands whose music is an expression of a Christian faith & worldview

VISION

- to encourage & resource the setting up of a network of venues in every major city & growth area of Australia & New Zealand where artists & bands with a Christian faith & worldview can minister through their music.

- to provide several sacred spaces where ministry-oriented artists & bands can share God’s Word through music/song in a very natural & spontaneous way.

- to establish regular, monthly or bimonthly pre-evangelistic events to which Christians can invite their nonchristian friends as well as new Christians.

LIVE@THE CHAPEL VENUES

Live@theChapel Australasia is a ministry carried out in partnership with the coordinator of Live@theChapel Australasia, and Aussie Christian Gigs.  They will provide a network and support of Live@theChapel venues across Australia and New Zealand.

Each Live@theChapel venue is hosted by a local church and coordinator.  A local coordinator needs to have a God-given passion for Australasian artists & bands and their music.  Each venue will feature an artist and have the type of night of their choice; ie. low-key artists nights, worship artists, etc

Live@theChapel is a family-friendly event in that it starts early and finishes early.  It is a transgenerational event in that it appeals to various age groups of the church & community.

The coordinator of Live@theChapel Australasia, Frank, is available to host churches & local coordinators as a resource person.  He can assist in the following ways: -

- the setting up of a Facebook page

- how to prepare for each event

- the writing of press releases

- artist/band recommendations
