Nightmare

This is a remake of one the first songs I recorded abut 6 months ago. Listening to the original, it sounded pretty muddy and bland. Not saying this version is much better, but it's a step in the right direction. 🤷‍♂️

A flinch at kindness, the weight of chains
I scan the faces, I read the air
Still braced for storms that aren’t really there

A phantom editor of words unsaid
Even love feels like a test to pass
A trembling echo in fragile glass
