"Started playing guitar in 1958 and turned pro in 1960 when I played guitar on a hit record of that time "Baby Sitting" by Bobby Angelo and the Tuxedos. I even sneaked in an Echolette echo thinking the engineer would not notice, but he must have liked the sound and said nothing. Baby Sitting was released on HMV and recorded in Abbey Road in October 1960 when I was 16. My first time in a studio. (long before the Beatles). I was told it was an audition. Got ripped of and only got a fiver for my part, which was the main part I made up on the spot, as we had nothing rehearsed being naive. Hate it now though as I was just 16 years and 9months and although cocky not that good. I later left with the drummer Mick Avory who went on to form the Kinks, both fed up with getting no money. Mick was not the drummer on the record though. The song was a big hit all over Europe although I never knew that until later. The Tuxedos and myself were from Kingston in South London, and the place where the Rock and Roll movement started in West London. A hive of activity as Eric Clapton said in his book, who moved there himself for the action, as a result of the Tuxedos hit. At that time myself, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Clapton were all kids together, and they all came to Kingston as it was the place to go. Never met Jeff though. Jimmy used to jam with us in the Swan in Kingston, although at that time he was with Neil Christain and the Crusaders (both of us) being 17 year old's then.  The Tuxedo's were also featured on a famous old TV show "Juke Box Jury" at the time. The annoying thing about being ripped off is they are still re-releasing this single many times over. The last time was on a "Rock and Roll Juke box Greatest Hits" 3 CD set on SKY. Now they have done it again on a "Rock and Roll Jukebox" 16 CD set with Elvis , Little Richard, Eddie Cochran etc' all on the same CDs again on Sky, so somebody is still getting my share somewhere. Why the Tuxedos record was on it I don't know, but it must have sold a lot as it was the only English record on it at first. After that knowing everyone, I was in many London Blues bands before being asked to come over to Ireland to join Gene and the Gents to replace Henry McCullough (not an easy man to replace). They were a very popular show band in the mid 60's and making good money. After that finished in 1969 I joined "Gene and the Flames" in Belfast and then formed Sneaky Pete (a rock group) with Davy Quinn (of Leo Sayer and the Mechanics) on Bass and Les Binks (Judas Priest) on drums. After that came "Pat McGuigan and the Skyrockets" and then back to London where Henry got me an audition with Eire Apparent.That never happened in the end as they were making no money and I was asked to join the Cricklewood Club Big band who knew me from playing there with the Gents etc'. They were the resident great big band there who supported all the visiting showbands. A great learning experience for me. I was then asked to come back to Dublin by the visiting Big Jim Farley Band which I did before getting married in 1970 when I got fed up with the touring. After that there was "The Frank Chisum Elvis Spectacular", Gloria , Kathy Durkin, Speedie Hamilton with myself and Arty McGlynn and so many, many more bands I cannot even remember. I was just a "Have guitar. Will travel" pro so I lost count. Now I am a bona fida Pensioner. I still play but only what I like as I got fed up with the usual circus with different ringmasters . Have a studio in the house now and I am more into writing (mainly jazzier stuff with blues and rock thrown in). Thankfully and surprisingly the BBC played it even though it was recorded on a 4 track. Somehow I got a decent sound. I Hope to play on till I drop and I intend to put a band togerther this year to do the Guiness Blues Festivals again.

Hi. I'm Victoria, and my nickname is Vinnie. This is a tiny glimpse at some of my likes and dislikes: 

I am a cutter, committer, and emo. I enjoy many genres of music. 

For example: I love Acdc, Halestorm, Bryan Adams, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi,Queen, Joan Jett, Madonna, Guns N' Roses, Bowling for Soup(1 song), Daughtry, The Band Perry, The Cutting Crew(1 song), and Def Leppard. My father got me into those.

I also enjoy some pop music: Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Passenger, Lady Antebellum, Nicki Minaj(1 song) Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, Jason DeRulo, Hunter Hayes, Fallout Boy, Evanescene, Rascall Flatts, Brittney Spears, Iggy Azaela(some), Vannessa Hudgens(2 songs), Carrie Underwood, and Ariana Grande. 

But my favorite music is things like: Black veil brides, Blood on the dance floor, Theory of a Deadman, Seether, Secondhand Serenade, Marilyn Manson, Nickelback, Nightcore, Copeland, Hollywood Undead, Finger Eleven(1 song), and Disturbed. My best friend got me into those.

As you can probably tell by my profile pic, I am in love with wolves. They are beautiful creatures. But I also enjoy dolphins, sharks, (some)whales, and snakes. 

My favorite colors are(from best to good but not as great): Black, crimson red, maroon red, navy blue, Carribean blue, dark purple, and white(depends on what it's on). The rest of the colors are disgusting to me tied with pink and yellow at worst.

My hobbies are:  hiking with my dad, hanging with my friends, blasting my music, singing along to my music, annoying my brother, school, playing my favorite online game(Smallworlds), and reading.

The best books to me are: The Gateway Chronicles(series) and The More(series). I like books that have suspense, action, and a hint of romance. I also like some horror books, but most are too cheesy and predictable for me. 

Thanks so much for taking an interest in my life. I hope you can love these bands, artists, animals, hobbies, and colors as much as I do. I love you guys! 

'Snakes Alive!' 90s pub band heroes have exhumed themselves to expose ourselves to our adoring public again.....oooer!
'Snakes Alive!' were a hugely popular local band in the early 90s, mixing mad musical style with stage theatrics, normally unseen in the pub venues that we used to play in. We've now shed a skin and reformed in a vain attempt to recapture the now faded glory of the old days...;-)

Playing anything from Frank Zappa to the Osmonds via post punk stuff, we combined slick musical arrangements with general on-stage tomfoolery. 

We are: 
Simon Bailey - Lead vocal, keyboard, swimming hat and eyelashes
Bobby Smith - Princess of the 5th and lead vocals.
Chris Fairbrass - Guitar and beard stroking
Bill Smith - Drums and flowing locks
Mat Bailey - Bass

Originally born out of a one off party bands, Sexy Lino & the Underlays and The Spoon-Poodles, a couple of other local bands, 'Return to Mayfair', 'The East River Blues band' and 'Four on the Floor', 60's music promoter and party-giver, Grooveyard Gunturret, begat the Somerset super group 'Snakes Alive!' 

GG, as he liked to known by his proteges, held regular parties in rural locations for young people in his thrall. At two in particular, 'Grooveyard Gunturret's Emetic Soiree' , the 'Meltdown' and The 'Safe Sex party', the ideas for Snakes Alive! were conceived.

GG knew that local bands were fundamentally dull to look at and played dull songs, 'I'm a believer', 'Saw her standing there' & 'Brown-eyed Girl' to give some examples, crowd pleasers, yes , but fundamentally un-daring..and that there was an opening for a new style of local band that incorporated slick musicianship, unexpected songs and cabaret- style presentation

To begin with, playing songs with adult themes -' Let me be your viberator' and 'Why does it hurt when I pee?' & 'Bastards!' had us showing a red triangle on stage, as did Channel 4 before showing a saucy film

GG put the band through a punishing schedule of gigs in Taunton, Bridgwater, Minehead, Langport & etc, refining their stage craft. Hard work, constant rehearsal and driven by GG's messianic dream of world domination, Snakes Alive! commanded the rapt attention of their adoring fans. Bill the current drummer saw them many times and claims to have been 'scarred' by their gigs, particularly the genuine exploding codpiece - see main pic.

Much of the bands success was due to the unpredictable onstage antics of the band's main man, Simon Bailey, scantily clad and barely disguising his penchant for 'alternative' clothing, fans could hardly keep their hands off him at the end of gigs.

Sweet LadyD and I shared funny, sad and annoying moments on SC. I strongly suppose, we have been collaborating since autumn 2013 (it also could have been in summer). Llich and Llach are 2 young boys who live in the magical town of Goolygang with their parents Llachty and Llachelina and their robotic butler, Robo-Broom. 

They enjoy magical adventure with the wonderful inhabitants of the town and surrounding hills such as Pie-Rat and the Ratscallions - a misfit brood of rats who fly around the skies in a pirate ship made of leaves and kindling, Fluffy the Cloud Giant who lives in a cloud above the town with other cloud giants such as his annoying brother Chinny - who loves to poke people with his long chin, and the mystical Elephant Ostrich which is too heavy to land and has to be called into action with a loud bird call that Llich can't ever seem to get quite right.

Lich and Lach are keen lego builders who make amazing lego creations from the rain which often falls as Lego bricks that need to be cleaned up and built into crazy inventions.

Llich and Llach adventures were improvised and voiced by William Burnett whilst putting his young son Oskar to sleep.

ABOUT Huck Walton & The WallTones is the creative endeavor of singer-songwriter Huck Walton with the stylings of keyboardist Anne Seidler, bassist Mike Marigliano, and drummer Anthony Sonetti. Sacred Hair Growth has been nagging me for a while but a lot of mere mortals don't have that. Let's look at that in real time.
