She's waiting for dawn when the dewdrops will sit, on every blade of grass and the sky will be lit.... 
with just enough light, to see but not be seen, as she disappears softly just like a wakened dream.

She clutches her bag, her hands start to shake, as the panic grows her will starts to break.
A few more minutes more, another cup of tea and she'll leave this sad life and finally be free.

My blood on your hands.
too many times, too many times, you have broken me down.
Tears on my face, as you creep nearer, your breath loaded as I make no sound.

She stands at the door breathing in the fresh air, She knows deep down its the last chance if she dares. 
No more telling lies, no more scared for her life, no more breaks and bruises. 
No more being his wife.

Tears on my face, as I run faster, my heart thumping as I leave this place.

( original song I wrote based on a woman trying to escape her abusive husband. I started writing this with this visual in my mind but also used my own experiences of a past abusive relationship and the feeling of being frozen/trapped based on abuse I experienced as a child)

Lonely autumn
It was autumn, and I cried while looking up at the night sky, alone and lonely, separated from my beloved family. 
It's a song I made at that time.

Finally working the Volca Drum back into the mix after not having used it for a little while. I like the lofi effect it gives the drum beat. With this track I leaned a little heavier into the Vital VST I've been experimenting with, also used the old minilogue and microfreak. Thanks for listening!

Homeostatic Imbalance

This came out of a piece I'd been developing over a couple of weeks, searching for variations around a central theme on felt piano. After a couple of less than successful attempts at developing the track with a fixed bpm I ended up freestyling it as an improv with some subtle drones from Spitfire labs Foghorn, a unique and free library of sounds derived from recordings of the Sumburgh head Foghorn on Shetland. 
One of the options in the labs library is a selection of engine room noises from the two diesel engines that power the foghorn, I wondered whether the engine room could stand in for percussion on the track and here is the result. Thanks for taking time out to check it out.

This song started with Terry sending Tez a really cool, unique beat. Tez then added some killer guitar to it and sent it to me. I added bass, organ, and synth to it. Tez produced it and mixed it, which was quite a task with this one, I believe. he always does such an amazing job of balancing everything, he's my go-to producer and engineer. Although, I have to say, there are many folks out there with great talent with whom I've worked, also. This is my first collaboration with Terry, but we have another in the works at the moment, too. I'm excited to keep making music with him, as well. He has a great sense of musical vision, and is fun and easy to work with, too. We hope you like our first collective psychedelic experiment.
