A joy to listen to and a beauty to behold, Kearoma Rantao has made an undeniable impression on the Botswana music scene. Much to her already sizeable army of fans Kearoma Rantao has just released her first solo Afro Jazz Debut album When the Music plays June 2012. 

The development of her unique style is the result of a lifetime musical influence. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Kearoma was always surrounded by different forms of music. Her mother is a lead singer of one of the Roman Catholic Churches in Botswana, and she was exposed to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced her development. Her first foray into learning how to sing came when she started to lead hymns at the age of 7 years old. Later she began singing as a soloist in different choral choirs, i.e. School, Community and Church Choirs, when she continued with for twelve years before finally becoming a recording artist, a decision which she never looked back from.
First coming into prominence in 1999 when her musical journey started Kearoma has spread her musical wings across the country. 
•	 1999 -Afro-Pop Album Lead Singer for Excutedge- Award winning ‘Ngwetsi’
•	2000 -Started doing Cabaret at Gaborone Sun Hotel, Cresta Lodge Gaborone, Marang Hotels, Bull and Bush amongst others
•	2006- Home Expo was the highlight of Kearoma’s career when she performed alongside Tshepo Tshola and Bongo Maffin in Gaborone, Botswana
•	Corporate Functions Live entertainment for Metropolitan, Boccim Annual Dinner, Standard Chartered Bank, Debswana to name but a few as well as all the Government Ministries, Gaborone, Botswana 
•	2008- Released an Afro Jazz solo album under Black money makers ‘ Monate’ in Gaborone, Botswana
•	2008-Formed  the Women of Jazz Botswana  ensemble in Gaborone, Botswana
•	2010- Recorded a song for Childline Botswana with other local artists(for Charity in Gaborone, Botswana)
•	GABZ FM 10TH Anniversary celebration with Women of Jazz Botswana, Tshepo Tshola and Theo Kgosinkwe
•	Performed for BOMAID in Victoria Falls- Zimbabwe
•	2012- Release of her first solo debut Afro Jazz Album
•	2012 –September Performed at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
•	Also Performed alongside other local music giants at the Generations in Harmony Ensemble  Concert by Metropolitan Botswana and Ringo Madlingozi with the Women of Jazz Ensemble, Letta Mbulu and Caiphus Semenya at the BDP 50th Anniversary Celebrations in Gaborone, Botswana
•	2012- Recorded a collaborative album titled: ‘Tales from Botswana’ with  German/Ireland Musicians in Gaborone, Botswana
•	2012- Also performed in Mozambique at Ambients Jazz Club and Kholwishwa invited by the Botswana Embassy in Maputo, Mozambique
•	2013- Performed alongside Freshly Ground of South Africa at the Mascom Sessions- Botswana Craft in Gaborone, Botswana
•	August 2013- Sponsored by the German Government will be performing live  in seven cities around Germany, European Union
