In 1994 FUJIYAMA SOUND SYSTEM was founded in the country of Aichi, Japan by Aki, Uru and Ruff.
The name FUJIYAMA comes from Japan's highest mountain, Mount Fuji.

Our sound system was built in 1997 and then renewed in 2003.

In 1998 we started an out-side dance session called “YASURAGEN” up in the hills in Aichi.
This DANCE is now popular and going on for 20 years and still going strong.

Later on in 1994 FUJIYAMA SOUND SYSTEM recruited new selectors ACURA, KIDD, STRONGER alongside new maintenance crew.

ACURA went to Jamaica and stayed in ALEXANDRIA , St. Ann in 2008 and linked with SQUINGY , DJ MARK and the whole BASS ODYSSEY crew and did much musical experience in the mean time. 

Also, we got a big forward where we played “THE LEGEND” at St. Dacre Community Centre in St. Ann, Jamaica in 2010 ,2011 and "SOUND FEST 2016" at Priory in St. Ann Jamaica.

In 2015 we promoted BASS ODYSSEY Japan Tour.

In 2016 we won the first international sound clash in Japan call JAPAN RUMBLE 2016 -Road to World Clash- so we got ticket for WORLD CLASH 2017 in Toronto.

In 2017 FUJIYAMA couldn't win world clash in Toronto but we got biggest forward in the clash.

In 2018 we won the first over seas clash WHO RUN THE WORLD Sound Clash against Tek-9 and Sensi Movement in Berlin Germany. 

Now, we been playing at many dance in Japan and Jamaica every weekend.
