Yugo Tugo is a journey through a lens of his eyes as he looks back onto his heritage, inner and outer. The story touches many subjects, some common, some personal. The album was made by his past experience in electronic production as well as with the help of more traditional instruments and harsher vocals.

This first instalment is just a beginning for a journey, so be ready for more brain-frying sonic art from the project Drekavac!

Premiere: Drekavac - WHO Knows [Geometric Corruption]

This composition is the result of my artistic residency at Uncool in Poschiavo (Switzerland 2021).
It is a radio portrait of Poschiavo town, its surrounding mountains and glaciers. During the residency I did outdoor self-made recordings of VLF natural radios phenomena, meteor echoes, electromagnetic field and radio communication. This portrait is a part of my ongoing  project started in 2014 about creating radio portraits around the world called “The unknown beyond” .

"We recently intercepted a broken signal being emitted from an unknown location. Once we had finally managed to decode the transmission, what it revealed was staggering. A small but potent collection of what could be nothing other than "music" from another dimension. It contained some familiar markers denoting it as such, yet the sound was like nothing we had ever heard before.

As the alien waves filled our laboratory, we became entranced, entering a hypnotic state of autonomy. Lured into the unfurling folds of such exotic auditory waves, lulled into a vivid dream, and kept in it's tight embrace. As the last note played, we awoke and the dream had ended, but what a wonderful dream it had been."
