Why Do We Hold (Resurrection) is the 6th track on the IRIS album HOAA: Resurrection, it is a remake of the song of the same name, it was originally remade in 2019 for HOAA: Reignite, but the album was cancelled.

The remake was teased in the album announcement video on March 22nd, 2023, and in a tweet after the video was published, Will stated that it was the first song completed for the album. 

"So far only one song has been finished up, and it’s the song you heard in the teaser!"

The song was then surprise-released on March 28th, 2023, and released on streaming services on March 30th, 2023.
