This is a lazy experiment with Miku Vivid and Light. I just wanted to make a comparison between these voicebanks and Miku's V2 voice and to achieve that I had to do a really popular song :| 

I didn't even take the mixing seriously, I just wanted to play with those appends... and let me tell you that the amount of things you can do combining them is huge! And MUCH more if you add Miku Solid! I had never had so much freedom when it comes to manipulating the tone and voice color on Vocaloid! Of course I still haven't mastered them since it's my second time using them, but hopefully I'll get to take advantage of their whole potential if I keep practicing and doing tests like this one! :)

This isn't supposed to sound good though! It's still much worse than the original, mainly because the voice doesn't fit with the style and meaning of the song xD

World Is Mine But It's Miku Vivid - Light (TEST)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH miki is the best thing that has happened to vocaloid :')

   This was going to be a test with Miki V2 (this is my first time using her since I always used miki V4), but it ended up being this cover. I was always kind of afraid of using her original voicebank beacuse people said it was incredibly glitcht. But ironically after playing with it, I discovered that it's just like miki V4, but MUCH easier to use! 

   At least for me, a user that tends to really mess up with the voicebanks' samples, taking advantage of every single imperfection to create vocals as unique sounding as possible, Miki V2 was a blessing! It was so much easier to achieve that robotic and unique sound she has on her voice than with Miki V4.  Although the samples are the same, I feel like Miki V4 tries to hard to make them sound natural (as her name says, "Miki V4 Natural") and to be "user friendly" and it ends up with a really unstable voice that doesn't sound as robotic and strong as V2. Miki's original voice was metalic but at the same time full of personality and realism, and it was perfect! I had so much more fun with that voicebank! The tone that I struggled to get with V4 was already naturally achieved in the unedited melody with V2.

(Appart from that, am I the only one that misses automatic glottal transitions in vowels of V2 voicebanks? They were so useful!)

PS: I know the mixing is a mess, this is just another test lol
PS 2: Also, screamo effect because she deserves it!
