For this prompt, Global Swarming, I used the great strings-based piece composed by project-dirigent(Chris) and expanded it into a swarm using Supercollider.  At one point there are approximately 80 loops of Chris' track. The resulting track was mixed in Ableton Live.

In DD's Key of C - disquiet0507

Thanks to DD for compiling such a rich set of motifs.  I took all of them and layered them like autumn leaves, forward and backward, using faders and repetition to generate longer stretches.  Compression and some reverb to tie things together.  The result felt like the sun through leaves on a tree at the end of summer - thereby came the title.

Loaded 2 of Daniel's samples the Hang drum and the bass guitar into Ableton's drum rack and used the Max4Live Turing Machine to trigger them randomly. Using 'slice to new midi track' I cut up the piano sample to another instance of Drum rack and also used Turing Machine to trigger that, slowly adjusting the amount of randomness so that certain loops would repeat as I was rendering it out to audio. Finally, adding a high pad sound from Arturia SQ80V

Created as part of the disquiet Junto series of weekly musical projects .Construct a track using a kit of samples supplied by Daniel Diaz all playing in the key of C.
I think I used about 6 of the 10 samples and went for small slithers of many of the sound to get drone textures. I re-chopped up the piano to get a nice ambient loop. It all ends in a bit of delay time wobble. Mixed and arranged in Bitwig

KMXA FM  minot nd switches to Christmas music ad

After thirteen and a half months, ReelWorld has finally come out with a new US jingle package!  Here is a sample of the new WYCD 2022 package.

The fifth package in the station's triennial series, this package sounds relatively similar to their 2019 package.  ReelWorld takes this package to new heights by offering a choice between the classic sonic logo and a more concise adaptation thereof (to match the station's current brand).

This is the latest package to utilize ReelWorld's new group vocal sound, along with an alternate solo vocal option. It consists of 12 main themes (each in its own musical key); beds for weather, promos, news, and traffic; and two ear-popping top-of-the-hour themes.

The Assignment: In honor of Dave Brubeck’s classic recording of the Paul Desmond composition “Take Five,” record something original in 5/4 time.

I started with purely rhythmic elements to get into the groove, and then added this and that, and then threw things out. There was a very different first version https://soundcloud.com/winterer/partialraspberrytartlet , but I couldn't decide on it, and this second version felt more rounded.
