Disquiet Junto Project 0591: The Loneliest Number
The Assignment: Record the first third of a trio.

I started with a track I'm working on since months and which does not work for me. I threw away all but what was originally some kind of Rhodes basis. I rearranged it until I liked it more than the original fully instrumented version. It's now Dmin with only two 4-bar-progressions to Gm and back. It's 90bpm, 6/4. I see plenty of space for Drums, Leads, Vocals, Noises - have fun, if you like ;-)

who worked on "Le Nom Des Fleurs" 's track from the previous week.
As suggested by morgulbee I added a funky bass line using a little old pedal from Electro Harmonix called Bass Balls that I bought 15 years ago and used once and then forgot about. It stills sounds pretty weird for an autowah IMHO.

I really like the track that was produced by @glitcher, Nobody's Home.  And then the atmosphere added perfectly from @Sinny made Somebody's Home an irresistible track to add to.  So I tried to add some guitar on the left channel and some synth on top without drowning out the clicks and buzzing that makes a home a home and called it Never Alone.  Some compression was required for this, however and I hope the result is satisfactory to the two artists I have borrowed from.
