This song is about a friend of mine called Bella. She is one of my closest friends in the world and I wrote this song to let her know that I still appreciate her whole entire existence and that I would be nothing without her. Enjoy the song!

everyone at some point in their lives have felt like they will never be good enough to reach their goals in life, big or small. this song is for those who at the stage where they are halfway there, but feel like they are not capable of pulling through to the other side.

My song, the core was written after my ex broke up with me. The lyrics capture the raw emotion i felt when he broke the news that he was no longer interested in me, using an apple as the stimuli for a metaphor to compare him to. Making reference to snow white’s poison apple and the garden of eden. The title of the song “the core” is symbolising the centre of an apple, and i used it metaphorically to represent my ex’s true identity and emotions once i had realised our relationship wasn’t built to last.
