I fortuitously discovered a piano in a garden, 
next to a museum during my last travel.
I'm happy I could record 4 improvisations in a row, 
based on some ideas I have been playing at home since a few months.
Let's say it's my first "outdoor" record and album, 
and with a real acoustic piano !

The idea for this song came to me randomly while driving down some backroad a few years back, and I recorded the initial idea spur of the moment. For whatever reason, the rather morbid theme came out in the process and I just went with it. Nat is a daring soul and surprisingly encouraged that we record it and with her considerable help we fashioned this recording. Notable is that Nat has taken on the ability to add some beautiful pedal steel guitar throughout the song using her well established keyboard skills and this first run at it was very satisfying. Let us know what you think!

A Coffin To Live In

The twin soul  :Dark ambient for two violins

After the harrowing collapse (Demise) and the stark realization of utter isolation (Lost), a musical lament begins to unfold. Tears pour forth— for the loss of all that was familiar: life, hope, the rhythm of what once was.
The English horn leads the orchestra through a descent into despair, guiding it gently, relentlessly, to the edge of desolation.
This piece ends not with silence, but with one final, desperate cry— a powerful minor chord, resonating with the weight of sorrow.
