At the beginning, I put a different melody and chord progression in the chorus part of the song, but the whole song became long, I quit.Also, at first it was a quiet jazz blues, but when I shortened it changed to a different style. I do not quite understand the reason for myself :)
After all, I finished it as a simple D7 blues(Blue Note Scale).In my series of solo guitar, rhythm also has parts like melody and improvisation at the same time. I enjoy and finish practicing stacking those elements like buildings.I think that it is a very useful practice method to figure out how to use the song tone scale, the blue note scale, and the chord tone.
In order to simultaneously sound rhythm, melody and improvisation, picking style uses finger picking.
This time, because I used the old type of Stratocaster, there is noise remaining. Please forgive me  :))

So much at stake,  a lifetime to lose
We can make a difference, and foster a better way.

Daily life on pause,  traffic ground to a halt.
Social distancing hinders, our most primal needs.
Basic activities,  now a challenge to all.
Pollution dissipating,  and waters clearing
An invisible threat, at our very doorstep.

There is no denying,  we must be better
Our world is so fragile,  we all have a part
A little pain today,   wake up to a brave new world

We must do better,  or risk it all.
Too much at stake,  to stand idlely by.
This too shall pass,  and good times return.
We bear the burden,  to take control
Change our habits,  to shape the future.

We Say: This tune started out with an acoustic session with Cameron (Jaimes son), and we were glad we recorded it as he plays so beautifully we feel... it was all first take and the guitar inspired Jaime to sit down on the piano and come up with the intro,  from which we sort of built the track around those two phrases. 

The tune is meant invoke a hopeful mind as well as to try to bring you around from a relaxing sense to a bit of tension and drama (to get the flow going) and then with any luck, by the end you will have a smile on your face a little bit...
