I spend a lot of time actually listening to tracks I like and repost so if my listens aren’t showing in your insights it must be due to some kind of an unwelcome glitch.  Friends have made me aware of the such cases and I have asked SC to correct the situation. 

Most importantly, I enjoy interacting with seriously minded musicianns.  Soundcloud is a wonderful platform for meeting great and interesting musicians.  I  play piano, synth, guitar, bass, bodhran and I sing from time to time.  I studied jazz piano and composing  Contemporary Classical Music and I write for many genres. 

Unfortunately I now feel it necessary to state that I do not use AI for composing music and I object to Ai training of music.  Sampling without written permission from me of any of the material posted by this account is strictly prohibited.

Sjonkel Rolfsen is a vinyl enthusiast and music collector from Trondheim in Norway. He has been welding records at local venues and events for two decades. Nowadays, he mostly enjoys to fiddle around with experimental and ambient in the comfort of his humble abode, but still get the odd epiphany to wonder out into the enchanting world of house and techno. When he is not fumbling about on the decks, he likes to travel. My music tells stories – without words, but full of emotion.
It’s shaped by melancholy, quiet strength, and cinematic depth.
With a blend of piano, strings, subtle electronics, and expressive vocals, I create soundscapes that move, reflect, and offer space for personal thought.

Every composition is a personal expression, crafted by hand using professional virtual instruments (VSTs), real elements, and a strong sense of intuition. I compose with care and intention – every note is placed with purpose. For certain textures, I occasionally use modern tools like ACE Studio, but always as a subtle enhancement within a framework I’ve entirely composed myself.

The creative vision, the musical structure, and the emotion – they are 100% mine.
I believe in music that sounds real because it is real.
