“How Sweet?” — A Poem by 1046

How Sweet? is a soft dive into the poet’s deepest frequencies — a place where love hums in the quiet and a woman’s presence feels sweet enough to kiss through the sound of her voice. This poem lives inside the ache of longing and the beauty of connection felt through soul, text, and memory.

Written in anticipation of the poet’s upcoming poem album and deluxe edition, How Sweet? captures the adoration of a woman whose essence warms even the coldest nights. Her energy becomes therapy. Her sweetness becomes refuge.

At the same time, the poet wrestles with the pull of returning West — not to leave, not to abandon, but to rebuild where the skyline of 9th still holds unfinished dreams. A chance to isolate, restart, and craft what was left incomplete.

This piece speaks to the coldness of loneliness, the warmth of wanting to hold someone soft, and the healing that love — even distant love — can bring. It’s a poem for anyone who has ever felt sweetness through words alone, yet dreamed of something real enough to hold.

A gentle reminder that love can be both distant and deeply warming.
